My take-Shanti lied about 1 & 3 while Laali partly lied about 2

It's Shanti's plan to steal the money and she forced Laali to be her partner in crime.When she noticed the pandit coming she put the blame on Laali.(We know how talented she and her daughter are and how they twist the situation and get away by putting the blame on others)

Laali is no less,Though she convinced Anupam that she did it for Shanti's good only,she took her revenge by telling Shanti's father about Shanti's love for the pahelwan.

The match came first to Shanti but they didn't ok her right away,instead they went to see Laali also.She planted the nasty neighbour's jewel ring in Laali's purse.She made the guy's family think that her alliance is better than Laali's(who is a thief).Two birds at a shot-Laali was rejected by the guy's family and She got married to that guy. By snatching away the guy from Lali she took revenge on Laali for putting an end to her love story(pahelwan story) and getting her beaten by her father.

@underlined: IMO, the difference is , though Laali didn't keep her promise to given to a friend, she didn't lie when she narrated that to Anupam.

Shanti, totally twisted and lied when she told her story.
