Ever since Karan Johar and Rohit Shetty have announced the remake of Subhash Ghai's iconic movie 'Ram Lakhan', the audience has been eager to know who would play the modern day Jackie Shroff, Anil Kapoor, Dimple Kapadia and Madhuri Dixit, the original leads of the movie.

Interestingly, when we had quizzed Jackie Shroff, as to who can replace him and Anil Kapoor in the 'Ram Lakhan' remake, the veteran actor had suggested Sidharth Malhotra's name for Ram's role and Varun Dhawan/Ranveer Singh/Arjun Kapoor's name for Lakhan's role.

Ask Sidharth Malhotra, who is basking in the success of his latest film 'Brothers', what has been his reaction to Jackie's suggestion, he says, "That was really sweet. It is a great film and I am big fan of the movie. And Rohit Shetty is remaking it who is entertaining and exciting to work with. During 'Brothers' Jackie Sir and I have spent so much time and discussed things that we have become buddies. He saw some resemblance and out of fondness said that I can play Ram which is sweet and encouraging. But let's see. It is not in our hands. If it happens, it will be exciting."

Probe him more on this and ask whether has he been offered the movie yet and the 'Kapoor and Sons' actor admits, "They haven't come yet with the film to me."

Hmm.. do we see something happening?!
