Disappointed as a viewer

I am a regular viewer of YHM. No doubt this is one of Ekta's best show with a strong storyline and very talented actors but I am not happy with the show as of lately.

YHM was a show with lot of potential but ruined by the writers or maybe thinking of indian TRP audience

Shagun's character is getting way too much importance and we all know why this is the case because she is Ekta's best friend. After all what Shagun did she now owns a NGO and has a separate love track- was this all needed?

The character that was supposed to be grey, that got butchered to black JUST to show the FL as mahaan, that got butchered to white again for FL's infertility/pregnancy is NOT a character that is getting too much importance but another useless one who is MOSTLY the one used when they want, how they want to fit the story.

Shagun scenes of 5min in an epi are purely shown as filler just to keep her present and use her when they'll need.

An actor that has beautifully managed to lead a show in her early twenties does NOT need any producer friend to find a role in a good show. Its her choice to choose a differant character...that unfortunetelly isnt so differant now.

Why is it that Raman's past has always been given more importance in the storyline as compared to Ishita- is it because Shagun was Raman's wife/mother of his kids and Subbu Ishita's ex?

Simply because there is a HUGE differance between a fiancee, and a wife with whome you share a house, have intimacy and have kids...the first can be thrown out of your life, but the second will remain in FOREVER. Thats how it is in REAL.

Subbu's track was my most awaited track in the sense that it would have focused on Ishita's past and her dealing with it but it was handled poorly. Why cast such a poor actor like Amit Tandon- he failed to emote and left no impact whatsoever. His entry should have only been linked to Ishita but Simmi and Laxmi were dragged into all this.

Subbu was useless and had no impact as character, we had many Raman past track during 11pm slot, but they did not turn out as ugly as Subbu or Mani track.

Raman got so possessive and jealous during the Mani track even though Mani was only Ishita's friend but with Subbu Raman felt no insecurity no jealousy. Not to forget that the Mani track had no proper closure- no proper conversation.

The Mani track could have been a good track, but it got uglier and uglier as it developped, the FIRST Ishita past track was the track of the start of the downfall of this show. It had no closure and was made a joke.

Even now this Ishita fertility track was not needed. The basis of the story was that Ishita could not conceive- it should have been left as that. If Ishita does become pregnant this will spoil the basis of the show.

On this point I agree with you, it would spoil the basis of this show. But how much will you kill the dead? This track too have a good potential, but I know in advance it will be ruined/spoiled and will take an ugly turn. So there is no need of it.
