Chapter 61

They held onto each other not wanting to let go. She grabbed his hair as she placed her cheek against his trying to be as close to him as possible while he gave her numerous kisses on her cheeks holding her close to him. Suddenly he didn't know what go into her when she started to squirm in her spot and seemed to want him to let go. He thought maybe he had done something that made her uncomfortable again, so he slowly let go of her. Before he could ask her anything, she had sadly walked out onto the balcony. Following her, he worried she might have reminded of something she wanted to forget because of his moves and stood behind her not knowing what to say.

She stood outside in the cold wind as a burning tear made its way down her face...only to have him stop it midway. As his thumbs wiped off her tear, she looked up at him with more filling her eyes. He felt so stupid for hurting her unknowingly once again. Holding her hands in his, he looked at her with her pain reflected in his eyes and she could only look at him in a daze as he never failed to amaze her by always feeling her emotions himself. And before she knew it she asked him the question that made her back away...

"You really love me?"

He was taken back for a moment as it seemed like she wasn't trusting him, but then he also knew where she was coming from. Deep inside, he wished she could have easily believe his love confession, but it seemed like her scars were too deep and she couldn't easily believe since last time the same three words were used to get her into bed. So he didn't know how else to prove his love besides giving her smile as he held her shoulders...

"I'll say it as many times you need me to...and I'll mean it every time...I love you Ishita Raman Bhalla..."

"I love you so much Raman!" she encircled her arms around him while he continued to tell her that his love for her was real...

"I really love you too Ishita..."

He looked down at her shy face. She hugged him tighter as she felt his gaze on her and he smiled to himself as she turned into a shade of pink. He ran his hand over her blushing cheeks making them turn into a deep shade of red now. Lifting her face to meet his, he chuckled looking at her lowered lashes...

"You were so bold just minutes back and now so much blush?!"

"Raman..." she looked away biting her lip while he loved seeing the blushing sight in front of him...

"But Ishita I'm so happy for you and so proud of you! You're coming out of it. Slowly, but it's happening... And before you even know it, you won't even be thinking about it."

"I try...and you always support me." She looked at him gratefully and placed her head on his chest.

"Of course I do. I'm your husband, I'm supposed to all this for you."

"Raman...can I just keep on saying I love you and hear it from you?" she suddenly said and he looked at her closed eyes and kissed her forehead...

"I would love that!"

They stayed in a close hug as they gave each other warmth from the cold winds blowing past them. Unknowingly a tear rolled down their faces as they realized just how lucky they were. She never thought any man would ever be able to give her trust and respect in a relationship and love was just unimaginable, but here was she in his arms while he repeated to her how much he loved her. And he felt no less lucky. He never imagined being so cared for or found so trustworthy as she had, so being loved was never in his thoughts, but now she was there embracing him telling him she loved him so much. Silently they both sent a silent thank you to God for bringing them together and a prayer to keep them like this forever.

It was a few minutes later when they parted from their hug when a string gust of wind blew by making her shiver in his arms. They slowly walked back to their room as he kept his arm around her shoulder. As they came back, he looked around the room to find her a shawl knowing she had been out in the cold for a while and finally found one covering her with it. As he covered her up, she quickly came closer and pecked his lips surprising him once again.

"I love this side of yours." He whispered to her and started to walk closer to her.

She suddenly become nervous by his proximity. It wasn't that she didn't want this, but the way he looked at her and his recent confession just made her nervous, she almost felt like what a newly wedded bride would feel. The hesitation yet the same desire he had. Her husband loved her and now as he walked towards her, she started to slowly step back nervous. She continued to move back blushing and fidgeting with her hands while he continued to look at her with only his desire and love visible. And then she had to stop. She bumped into the wardrobe and now she couldn't move anywhere else. Lowering her eyes not wanting to push him away by showing her nervousness since he would stop if he thought she wasn't okay, she lowered her head as he stopped right in front of her. He slowly put his hands on her waist slightly pulling her closer to him. She kept her head and eyes lowered as his warm breath could be felt on her forehead. She felt goosebumps on herself as he intertwined their fingers and placed a soft kiss on her hands.

She looked up at him shyly while he smiled waiting for her to show some expression letting him know if he should go further, whether she was ready to take their relationship forward, but when he looked at her he didn't know what she was trying to tell him. And that's when the one thing he wasn't expecting happened and put off everything. She wanted to talk to him, to let him know she wanted this, but it wasn't going to be easy for her, and so she wanted to put everything off for a while...

"I think besides me you would also love some dinner."

"What?! You're ruining the mood here!" he looked at her surprised at where everything was ahead to now.

"Raman I'm sure you haven't eaten well since yesterday, so no excuses you come with me. I'm also hungry now." She added the end bit knowing it would make him agree to her.

"You-"

"Before you scold me, I ate. But I'm hungry again."

"Let's go then..." he said disappointedly.

"And don't worry I can make your mood again." She looked up winking at him brining a grin on his face.

"Stop testing me Ishita or else..."

"Let's go!" she grabbed his arm trying to pull him while he walked with her disappointed, but knew this would give him time to figure out what she wanted as well.

"Feed me..." he said as she sat down next to him planning his dinner in front of him. She was taken back by his sudden demand...

"Raman!"

"What? You stayed away from me for a whole day, so I can at least get this from you, right?" He bit his lower lip raising his brows while she could only noticed that glint in his eyes. It was so cute yet naughty, just like him tonight. And she could never say no...

"Fine." He pulled his chair closer to her and sat like a small child waiting for his favourite treat all excitedly. She shook her head at him as she took started to feed him with her own hands. He slowly ate from her hands wanting this to never stop. As she continued to feed him trying not to meet his eyes, he kept his gaze on her admiring her every look and expression. He stopped her halfway done with his plate and grabbed a bite for her feeding her with his hands. She didn't even think to tell him she would eat herself and went along with he was doing. He feed her the rest of his plate quietly as they were both enjoying the small touches they got from the other. As they finished dinner, he looked at her while she was clearing up the plates, she would look at him as if wanting to say something, then look away not saying a word. He continued to look at her as she walked away to the kitchen to think of how to start this conversation. Finally she decided as difficult as it got, she would need to talk before they go back inside. So she slowly went over to him as he waited for her on the table drinking water...

"Raman..."

"Hmmm..." he put the glass down knowing she was going to say something she had been wanting to say for a while now. She sat down next to him looking at her hands as he looked at him curiously...

"Umm now because we've finally given our feelings a name...does...does that mean you want...you want to go ahead...in our rela...relationship? Like...do you want us to..."

He knew this was coming up and it was because all that happened back in the room. But what he didn't know was that she also wanted to talk to him. He knew he needed to be patient and deal with this talk carefully especially after their acceptance of love. He simply took her hand into his and looked at her hoping she would see in his eyes that he was being sincere with his words...

"It's whenever you want. I'm not rushing anything." And that's all she needed to open up her feelings to him...

"I know I couldn't get myself to stop thinking about the past before... but I really want to come out of it. I... I want to be with you Raman in... every sense...I want to at least try and move forward...I don't want to live in my past anymore. I want to be with you and just you!"

"You want to move ahead with me...can you do that without hurting yourself?"

"I can try to. I can't say anything right now because I don't want to give you false hope, but I will try and Raman...I'm not being forced...I really do want to be yours..."

"Anything you want...but..."

"What? What happened?!"

"Ishita...Ru-"

"I took care of everything...Ruhi's with Mihika and Mummyji. She hates Mihika, but will sleep with Mummyji nicely."

"Why?"

"Stop asking why...I wanted to spend time with you..."

"Oh Ishita, you don't know how I went through last night without you." He brought her closer to himself and hugged her.

"I'm sorry..."

"Don't be sorry, just be with me."

"Did you cry last night?" she looked up at him.

"Maybe...did you?"

"A little...hormones and all." She tried to joke and got a chuckle out of him making her smile.

"I'm so happy you're back..."

"I'm glad I came back too..."

"Ishita sorry for that drama...I wanted to know about your feelings. But you ahead and kissed me, so that means you knew you about my feelings or-"

"I just know I love you and I saw the same in your eyes."

"I don't even know how and when it happened...just did, didn't right?"

"Hmmm..."

"I never thought we would fall in love..."

"Hmmm..."

"But I'm sure glad it happened..."

"Hmmm..."

"I'm the one who says hmmm all the time."

"Like you say Sangat Ka Asar."

"You know what your sangat has taught me?"

"What?"

She looked up at him and he didn't wait moment before capturing her lips with his. She gently touched his jawline feeling his 2 day stubble while he ran his hand in her long locks. Her hands slowly made their way to his hair grabbing it as the kiss became more passionate and he held her free hand tightly with his before they slowly parted in a few moments. She looked up at him and without any hesitation or second thoughts...

"Raman...carry me..."

He got up with her following him. He bent over and carefully lifted her in his arms while she put her arms around his neck looking into his eyes as he bent his head pecking her forehead. She rested on his shoulders and closed her eyes while he smiled shaking his head at her demand and at her cute behaviour.

They entered their room as she opened the door while he carried her in. She was perfectly snuggled in his arms that he didn't want to let go and lay down on the bed next to her without letting go of her. She looked at him as he waited for her permission and smiled back when she gave him a dreamy smile. He inched closer to her and watched as she still smiled though she looked shy now. He leaned over her careful not to hurt her and placed a wet kiss on her forehead. She held his hand while looking up at him as he went and kissed her cheeks. She closed her eyes blushing as he kissed her lips and chin. That night she was okay with him leaving a trail of wet kisses on her neckline as she whispered his name and grabbed his hair tightly. And then as soon as he removed her shawl and reached for her loose tee sliding one side off her shoulder and kissed her...

"No!!" She almost jerked up and hugged him trembling in his arms. He hugged her back as tight as he could letting her know it was him and she was okay...

"I'm here! You're fine, I'm here..." he stroked her hair holding onto her protectively as if trying to keep her hidden from any pain or harm.

"Raman I couldn't! I'm so sorry!" she cried in his arms clutching onto his shirt apologizing.

He knew that a physical relationship was something she felt was really important in a relationship due to her past, which it was, but not as much as her comfort and happiness. So he held her face with one hand while still stroking her hair as he tried to explain the same to her...

"I didn't say I love you so I would get you in bed. I really love you and I told you I can wait because I don't want us just sleeping around, I want it to be love. And until it's only our love and nothing else, I'll wait... I would love for us to be one, but we need to find the right time and frame of mind. We'll wait and work this out."

"Why can't I just forget everything?! Why?!" she sobbed while he looked at her condition feeling horrible...

"I don't know, but that just means I haven't been able to make you get over everything and I promise I'll do anything I can to make you get into a better place and away from those horrible memories."

"It's not your fault! I can't do anything!"

"No Ishita! It's not your fault...Now I don't want you crying on this special day. Stop thinking about this, just think about all that's happened today. My madrasan, I love you! And that love won't change because of this issues. That's it!"

She calmed down as he kissed her hair repeating to her he loved her no matter what. She clung onto him sniffling and telling him she loves him a lot while he listened to all she had to say silently. In a few minutes, she had been wore out emotionally and fell into a slumber while her husband's sleep had been lost...

She wanted to move on with him, but couldn't. More than 3 times, they had tried to take their relationship forward and each time they got the same result. Till now he thought she would overcome it on her own, but clearly she couldn't. He also needed to help her and make sure she would move on from whatever that man did with her.

He started to think and figure out what he could do for her. Just bringing her to their bed and trying to take their relationship to that final step was definitely a bad idea because whenever he tried to do anything, it broke her down. So he needed to take things slowly and really carefully. She was very delicate in this matter and anything he did wrong would break her like it did once again tonight. So he needed to slow down and start off by making her comfortable with physically before their big step. And he needed to try to get her to initiate proximity since he was sure it didn't happen in her previous relationship so she probably would be more easy-going with her coming forth. But now the question was how would all this happen...

He would need to do something to start bringing her out of this slowly... and that's when he thought of a few small things he could start off with...

This time I am first. Hope my comment will be up yo your expecting feed back.how much romantic you want Prabh in each update of your always have something diferent to portray their emotion their feeling their relationship had gone to next level of exceptant of love from both side. And romance not only in bed can be in each small small moment being together spend time to be with each other or caring concern about each taught. Feeling it come from inside from your heart that was both of them had and now they found their missing piece in life and connect it together and now they go to the phase of love. For Ishu I understand she also want to be Raman wife by full sense but her scar still very deep and she hurt by her past it will take some more time to come out of it. Whenever she come close and want to be with him it remind of her past that is the result she hesitate .Raman was right he will give her more time and by the way he will find the way to help her to come out of her past soon. I love your small touch up like eating dinner together with each other hand she want her to carry and she can feel his breath that my feeling of romantic that they are so caring even Ishu runaway from his touchy touchy but she also made up in another way only the last part that she need more time. But very soon she will be there with Raman. It was beautiful touching update I don't know you not find it enough romance then ok write more for next update but for me I love it.thank you for the beautiful story so far you made us happy with your story every update and it be my morning wake up that have to check your post first like my daily routine. U know ,i really hurted when i read ishu's condition.the way u potrayting ishu's inner turmoil and struggling to come out from her past which give pain in her life.i hate that donkey subbu..he is getting my nerves..
Jarur yeh donkey physical relationship ke be barai main kuch negative bathai kiya hoga ishu ke sath...subbu injected in her mind ,love word is used to fulfill mens lust and all?i think so.she blaming her self ,she not coming out from bloody past.she cant help it.she hating herself not taking furthur step with her true love..

Raman character always amaze me,so much of patience.he love her in all sense.so he definately help ishu to come out from darkness..

i love ishu boldness re...kabaab mai haddi kudh ishu bangaye...the way ishra feed the food for eachother is extraordinary..i reminiscing marriage day of ishra..usually newly married couple feed food for each other,actually it is ritual in south indian side.i dnt know about others..
