They already had a fight about him blaming her for the breakup and she told him about how hurt she was that he left her in the middle of the night. So once again to blame the break up on her and ask her if she made a mistake but then say that he is sure he didn't make a mistake... would tick her off. Especially after all the accusations about being a gold digger and opportunist etc.

This whole game he is playing is because he wants Meher to accept her feelings without first admitting his. He wants her to be vulnerable to him without being equally vulnerable back. He wants her to say she needs him but where is he telling her he needs her? All that kind of behaviour would do is push someone like Meher, who has her pride, is make absolutely clear that from her perspective she hasn't made a mistake.

You are right when u said that both of them ate equally hurt. Meher had nothing in life and then she got abeer, who became her everything. Abeer had almost everything in life and then he met meher. He got what he needed the most, someone he can call his... Only his. They both lost what mattered to them the most.

But abeer's character is designed in such way. He always must have been pampered and being the Richie rich he is , everyone always must have submitted to him. He isn't used to the feeling of going to people n talking abt things. He still wants love and attention in life. He is kidish and doesnt want to grow up... He wants it from meher. Now that he isn't getting it, its making him go mad. He is trying to get it, u know.. He just wants meher to tell him how she loves him. He thinks its understood that he still loves meher... He has said it in front of her too. He wants reaction from meher...

Though I understand meher n what she might have gone through... I'm also a girl... I can understand her... But I won't understand saying such hurtful words to the man I once loved... I still can't say a bitter word abt my ex... May be its my nature... 😳
