they are all types of battle ships .
destroyer s are heavy above 8000tonnes but powerful arsenal with many missiles capacity.
frigates are medium class from 4000 to 8000 tonnes.India mostly go for frigates.they have similar attack capabilities but just little less.
corvette are small 3000tonnes but fast and attackers they are stealth and good.many countries don't go for them.but they are good attack machine.
carriers carry aircraft and fighting jets and they can cly from them.
India have presently two carriers virat and vikramaditya.
vikrant and vishal are yet to join.
virat will retire in 2018 and vikrant will join vishal will join by 2025.
carriers are best .
