Anandi and Nimboli are celebrating Teej festival. It has brought happiness for them. The family is shown celebrating Teej in Dadisaa' s haveli. Ganga has kept fast for Jagya, they faced many problems and now few light moment has come finally in their lives. Anandi does all the arrangements of the bhoj/food. The twist comes when Mannu leaves the family, and goes to meet Pooja. Jagya gets to know this and gets angry on Mannu. He asks him where did he go, and asks him not to lie. Mannu acts rude and argues with his father. Dadisaa scolds him. Mannu asks her to say would she allow if he asked him and went to celebrate Teej with Pooja. The family gets upset by Mannu.

will anandi also keep teej fast .as I have heard those women who start teej fast they had to keep teej fast throughout life

don't know why bv cvs showing women keeping fast on hariyali teej .women keep fast on kajri teej which fell on bhaado month

The article says that Anandi is merely helping BH in Teej festival. Widows do not keep fast as there is no point in doing so.

You might be reffering to the fast both Anandi and Ganga had kept despite being a divorcee. That was becoz their husbands were alive even if seperated so they were supposed to keep the fast. Otherwise Dadisa never kept fast, Gehna discontinued it after Basant's death and most probably Anandi must have too discontinued it.

But this is confusing. If Anandi and Ganga kept fast even after divorcing their husband(which means divorce is not valid) who were actually their ex's ...now is anandi supposed to keep that fast for her living ex husband Jagya?😕

I don't think so. That marriage was completely void from the day Anandi married Shiv. After remarriage, both, Anandi and Ganga's previous marriage should have lost its validity in such rituals and festivals too. 😕

The concept probably could be -- If the divorced women get remarried, they'll shift the teej name to the new husband. If not, they'll do it for the ex forever. Thank God Anandi married Shiv!! If not, imagine both Anandi and Ganga doing the same teej for Jagya...and Jagya feeding both of them

I think when anandi kept teej for jagya, she was not divorced. He had married another woman illegally and was living with her.

But the divorce had not come through. She was still his wife.

But why nimboli is keeping teej ? How did Harki allow her to do that?
She says only urmi is Kundan's wife. Nimboli is no more his wife, she is only a maid. So why she kept teej?

Anandi kept the fast at that time because Dadisaa told her when you start keeping teej fast for your husband then you end it only after his death At that time Jagya Anandi's divorce was filed but court was yet to announce the divorce and as per Dadisaa's theory One can only stop the fast after the husband's death so divorce really does not matter but Anandi was later remarried Shiv became her husband till now she is Anandi Shiv raj Shekhar Her husband has died does not mean Shiv's name is removed as her husband too Until she does not remarry Her husband Shiv's name will remain with her so Anandi won't be keeping fast since she is a widow but she cannot keep now for her ex because her husband is Shiv and Jagya is also married His wife is Ganga Jagdish Singh

but i have a question Anandi can keep fast following Ganga's theory when she kept teej vrat in Mangalore Jagya asked her is she keeping it for Ratan ? Ganga said no she never kept fast for Ratan because she never considered him as her husband but she keeps Teej vrat as a prayer to goddess Its a part of her prayer so if one can keep fast of teej as a prayer then Anandi can too keep and break her fast herself like Ganga did She prayed and broke her fast herself To pray to god widow , divorcee , married woman status are not checked so she can keep it in this way ?

OMG! What an awesome logic? I couldn't stop laughing. ... indeed if Anandi was not remarried then going by BV theory so far... both A and Ganga would by fasting for J.

Also wondering if Gauri has not remarried would she be also fasting for J? She started it atleast, although grumpy about it.

Teej is not celebrated in my culture. I have no idea about its customs / rituals correctly except what I see on TV at times.

Apologies in advance as I do not intend to disrespect any culture / belief. Just pointing out the logics presented in the show
