Heroines refuse to act with Sunny

The flop film Kaafila has proved that Sunny Deol is not a draw at the box-office any more. Not even in his pet Hindi heartland. Apne managed to create a few ripples, nothing more. Yet, a filmmaker was adamant on casting Sunny as the main lead for his next film. And, he had to run pillar to post to find the female lead.

Apparently he knocked on every door from Priyanka to Preity Zinta with his script, but they refused to act opposite Sunny. Even Bipasha Basu thumbed down the project.

That's when Sunny himself decided to get into the thick of action. He had struck a friendly rapport with Sameera Reddy during the making of Naksha and their upcoming film Ghulami. He sent the director running to Reddy's home knowing fully well that Sam wouldn't refuse a film with him. But to his surprise, she did. And since then her phone has constantly been unreachable to Sunny's calls.
