Accusation regarding plagiarism

I'm extremely disheartened by a personal attack on me in the forum
I am not blaming the person, and I am not intending to make this a big issue. But it does hurt because if she/he had an issue regarding plagiarism, it would have been first dealt in private, and if proved it was a work copied, she would have reported the same.

I'm a very busy person and I hardly get time to read or write. Being a medical student and a member of the college ruling union, the leisure time I get is limited.
In a tight schedule of requiring 8-4 classes n 4-6 special classes more often and at least 6 hours plus a student should study, I take out a very little time to write.
And the person accused me of copying a work and their hardwork, but neither does she know that I have had spent more than a month to complete this work.

I would have limited my aspirations only to be a doctor.
I have never dreamt about being a good writer or a commendable singer, though good at it, because my primary intention is to be a good practitioner. And now I understand, My only intention should be same

I am a various level writing competition winner and intermedicos champion and I even own a book published in my name, I am not boasting around , but I have never tried copying any works. I swear upon god.

But it is really disappointing to know that, without knowing the person in person, accusing. It breaks a heart and self confidence. And gladly, this dampened my mood and my exams were a trash. God had made me realise that my only love should be my career.

I am withdrawing all my works. Daffodils and I loved you. Before someone come and claim I loved you to be their imagination.

I apologize to the writer of mirrors and her friend, both of whose works I have never came across. I am here only for a friend who had asked me to publish my works. Else I was happy amongst my friend circle. Sorry once again and thanks others for the support. I'm neither an ardent follower of YHM because I hardly get any time to watch and I am not much into soaps either

This girl, I have known her for around a decade, I must say, she had started writing from her primary school and was a school champion. Even before knowing that India-Forums existed, she had done good works. I have come across similarity in plots a number of times in this forum, but all had a unique style of writing. I think she deserves a chance.

I'm reminded of many many theories which were discovered in the same year in two different countries, similar thoughts and were awarded awards same year, neither accused the other of copying because sometimes people do think in a similar way.

I haven't read mirrors completely because it was withdrawn, so I can't judge the similarities.

I don't know what others think, but as Aisha said, as a mature person, the person should've consulted her in private and shouldn't have spoiled her image so openly in the forums.

You can bash me or thrash me, because I am not a talent, and it won't affect my confidence either. But this girl is truly remarkable if u know her personally. Because I do

Well, I have read both the fictions and I have to admit they have similarities, conceptually. But that doesn't mean it's plagiarism because two people can have similar concepts in their minds without knowing each other works. I strongly believe Aaminah was ( I hate to use past tense, I badly miss her fanfics here) by far the best writer in this forum. Having said that, I also believe whoever raised this issue could have sorted it personally in the first place.

And, you should continue your pieces, @TM.

I have read mirrors. N yes both mirrors and daffodils have similarities. But I don't think it is plagiarism, so many can have similar ideas. U can continue ur story n let everyone know ur concept is different. Don't stop writing. I have read many other stories in IF which has similarities initially n has taken different turn as story continues.

I totally agree upon the other TM, she was in her temper but others who had commented would've at least be considerate and had made an attempt to hear my part too
As the other TM was disappointed regarding plagiarising her friend's work , I am equally disappointed to be called plagiarising her work and demeaning my hard work too

I doesn't read mirrors.but I read both your ff and really enjoyed it,I will surely going to miss your writing. Ithere are so many ff sin form which are similar and change with story line.

I'm proud that you've decided not to continue your works at least in this forum
the stories in this forums are quite similar but yet different because of each author'S writing style
Plagiarism was a harsh word to use because many stories in this forum had dealt with Ishita nannying Ruhi. And this one story, Aisha had written long before and had nothing to do with YHM. She had just changed the names of characters to fit in the forum.
I respect Aisha's decision and request others in the forum to be at least considerate about her hard work and think a thousand times before thrashing and bashing her because she is still young and her mind is being hurt, in a way killing her desire for writing.
