well for me dhani is a nice character...
as she mentioned, she is a girl who was left with no hopes when she became widow,...for her, it was the dead end.but her mother gave her a ray of hope in the name of following this widow ritual and living in that ashram with others...she have devoted her life for this..she is a girl who believes lot in all those myths and the rules imposed on them..for her, it is all what the god wants and being a devotee, she don't want to defy them...this girl have lot of self respect on the other hand...but its just, she was never been in any situations before meeting viplav, which can brings out this side of her...her self respect and honesty is being targetted and she is opposing it, not viplav in a way...

she is really a brave girl...coming out to face the enraged crowd set to kill u for saving ur companions is a courageous job...she showed courage at a time when she was shattered...without being at fault set to tackle the punishment...

for me this character have good potential...and the characterization is going nicely...yes she is being overshadowed by viplav's strong character, but we can't accept a girl like her, high on the fake moral values of society to just stand up against them...she need time...time to realise, to come out of those false notations...

and i m loving eisha...this character is a innocent one so isha is a good match for this...she is doing complete justice...

As a character, Dhani is boring so far, not intensely annoying but just very boring.

Exactly that. Eisha's inexperience shows, and with Dhani so far ,being the stereotype of sati savitri holier than thou leading lady, I end up getting a tad annoyed with the character sometimes.

I like Dhani & Ehsa as Dhani. She comes alive when she's with her Mom too, IMO. She is an independent & self-respecting girl & tries to be that way within the vidhwa frame work, the society she lives in has laid for her.
I'm sure we'll see her character grow as the story progresses and when we are shown her life before her ill-fated wedding.I hope Esha gets better too. The Dhani that Esha plays, makes me want to stand up for her, she looks vulnerable and innocent . i'm not sure whether an older actor would have made me feel more empathetic towards Dhani in the same way.

Hello, have I seen you on the MMZ forum?

@bold- Yeah, she is doing an okay job with the material she has been handed out, but I think Dhani's character could have been stronger. She has a baby face and as you said, maybe a mature face would have done well too. I think Eisha is doing justice to the role she has been given, though.

Yes I am on MMZ forum too !!!!!

hi clarity, just noticed i overlooked your post.. its great and thought provoking.. yes to all the things you said about her..
dhani, i feel has already started her stirring.. she may not have a vision that is articulated yet to someone.. before that she has to find a solid backing to perhaps support her cause. vidhi ma'am might be one such person.. note she hasn't yet told vidhi the reason behind the delay in delivering the garlands for puja.. nor about the hurt on her arm.. viplav.. she yet to see his disciplined side as opposed to the flippant , insensitive and unruly side.. for me it will be interesting to see how they will support each other .. and which one seems to be a bigger threat for dashrant.. lovely post thanks.. much love hammie

@Roopal- Very nice analysis of Dhani's character. I call her 'the mouse with the heart of a lion', hehe. 😉

@Loveforlife and Simran- Hope we get to see more shades in Dhani's character.

@Hammie- So glad you liked the post. Yes, I am itching to see Dhani transform into a girl who stands up for herself. Much love back to you! 🤗

Eisha is doing justice to the role. It is now upto the cvs whether they know exactly how they want to project this character. Most of the time it is seen, that with time the actor matures up with the acting, and does very good job. The weakness lies with the cvs and their quality- the reason for the stories to fail.

Dhani's character has developed well so far&being a young widow she's gone through the worst...she's calm&composed yet stands up for herself when needed as in extremes...she's gud natured and there is an innocence to herself ...& she tends to believe in the norms set by the society for widows and hence is a bit sudued but will surely evolve stronger with time...Eisha too is doing gud for a beginner &fits in perfectly for the role.
