Come on guys...you can't say that. Prashant was one of the biggest competitor Amit could ever have. Their voice qualities are different. I don't if you guys noticed or not, but Prashant sang their New album song better than Amit.

I personally liked Amit but think he still have a lot to learn. Prashant has a melodous voice and can go far ahead like Kunal Gujwalia and Shreya Goshal.

Along with that, he was a fighter too. I am sure he have and will make his presence valuable in his fans eyes.
