Family vs Society

Poor poor Gayu... 😭 Bedardi society is ruining Gayatri... Those meanie meanie SILs trapped Gayatri n are now quite successful in ruining her self esteem n dreams... Poor Damayanti knows her DILs well, thats why she is even more eager to get her married to anyone (even that buddha kameena Damodar) 😭 ... To her its better to live a miserable life in her sasural rather than in her maika as an unmarried NANADIYA whose SILs' aim in life is to making her life miserable! N her poor father who is not able to bring one Good Rishta eben though he is the richest person in town... N Damodar that pathetic buddha... 56, has grown up son n daughter ,came to marry a 21 year old girl n no shame on asking for dawry or why is the girl is still unmarried... Very very happy to see that both Gauatri's brothers r unhappy with the rista n even more happy to see Govind Seth's fury while those disgusting LADKE WALE were speaking bad abt Gayu.her family wants her to be happy... But the society...n 1940s society... How can they let a girl live her life...a girl didn't have the minimum right ...n Gayu dared to dream.. How can the society not punish her for her WRONG DOING... .poor poor Gayatri... Hope this misery of her ends soon...
The team really did a good job displaying how girls used to get treated in the name of Ladki Dekhna... Only read about these things in old storybooks n novels n watched these only when these were shown in films based on these stories..
Just totally loved Drashti Dhami's acting tonight... Was looking beautiful n beautifully portrayed how a girl used to feel in this kind of situations... Her eyes speak a thousand words n she knows how to use them while acting... Even Darshan sir n Moon ma'am were awesome...

I dont understand Damyanti's desperation to marry Gayatri suddenly ..yeh kya point hai that to save Gayatri frm her SIL's taunt n schemes Damyanti is ready to marry Gayatri to 56 yr old buddha ..

Here society won over family clearly ..

Such a poor society we had/have, where a mother is ready to marry her daughter to a 56 year old buddha who is having son of Gayatri's age. Such kind of society makes me sick really.

Her mother is crazy ..she will marry her off to anybody ? he is like her daughter's father age still she talking about dowry..i was shocked !

Guys I hope you remember that even Paro from Devdas was married off to a person like this... The society back then was hopelessly regressive towards girls...
