Rani! She was fierce and fiesty, like her character in Mardaani. she excels in these kinda roles.

Rani for me. Such an uninhibited performance from her! Vidya was brilliant but 4 years down, I remember it as Rani's film despite the fact that she was considered the supporting actress.

Have you actually seen the film? If you did, you would know that Vidya was the MAIN lead and Rani showed up after the first half to help Vidya's character get justice lmao...

Rani's role was the showy, fiery, heroic one!

Vidya's role was the strong and silent one!

Both were equally brilliant in their respective performances.

Rani was amazing because it's a huge character change for her as an actress...she was revealing in a nice and modern way...but it was a Vidya Balan movie all the way...you all have to realise Vidya was emulating the real Sabrina, whose sister Jessica was killed...while Rani was playing a feisty reporter...to me, it was a movie with 2 of India's greatest actresses...they both kept me interested 😉
