Govind seth rues that he was wrong as he didn't differentiate between a daughter and a son. Gayatri says it was her mistake and that she wanted to tell him the truth. She says that she did not know what she was drinking. Gayatris sis-in-law taunt that Gayatri has so much freedom that she cannot separate right from wrong. Gayatri's brothers announce that she won't ever leave the house again. All leave as Gayatri sits on the floor, troubled.
Rajmata gets a letter from Kinour's prince criticizing Rana ji's behavior at the party. They turn down the marriage proposal. Yashoda asks Rajmata why she is reading the letter several times, Rajmata says that it is coz it isn't Kinour's prince who did the wrong, it is Rana ji. Rana ji arrives there, Rajmata asks him to read the letter. He says he didn't know they would make a big deal. Rajmata sends Yashoda out. Rana ji says he experienced that Sharmila isn't Sulakshna and he won't ever marry another person. Sulakshna's name is imprinted on his heart. Rajmata shouts on him and says this will not just make a difference on his life but other people in addition. Rana ji asks the matter.
Gayatri tries to talk to her mom. Damyanti says that she was angry and says that she could forgive her provided that she was her daughter, but she isn't. She is somebody else and asks why she drank at the palace. Gayatri says that she's a shadow of her mom, she hid something from her but will tell her all.
Rana ji asks Rajmata to relax. Says all will be well. Rajmata says when he was a kid, she used to tell him stories and he would be happy coz kids don't know the truth. He is doing the same right now. Truth is the walls of these palaces can crumble anyday. Every bit of the palace and me are in debt of Govind Seth. Rana ji is shocked and says royal treasury is empty. All this glamour and expenditure is a fake. Rajmata says and in debt of Govind Seth. Rana ji asks why then these lies. Rajmata says tried to hint the situation to you but you din listen. Next day morning, Govind Seth shown talking to his wife about Gayatri and worrying for her but her mom says coz of your support she is being spoiled. She drank yesterday and was drunk much before. Its better to sort this out. Before anything happens, get her married off. Govind says waiting for a proper relation for her. Damyanti says any relation is good for her. Govind says how can i let her marry anyone. Worried for her betterment. Damyanti says coz of your stubbornness, Gayatri is in a mess. Swear on me, you wont stop me from finding a suitable boy for Gayatri.
Precap ---Govind Seth asks a boy (assuming he is the boy interested in Gayatri) about his education and future plans. The pandit along with the boy says to not ask him but Govinds son in law, Damodar ji, who has sent rishta for Gayatri. Govind is shocked.
