Chapter one
"I cannot just believe this ! Did not your sister tell that she was not attending this wedding ! Then why is she here ? You know our budget is running out and one more person added , means eight hundred pound extra everyday and still four days is left for the marriage how will we even manage ! " Parang complained to his wife who listened to him silently nodding her head .
"So is it my fault ! She came just like that ! How would I know that she was attending this wedding ? "Shrena replied to her husband angrily placing her hands in her stomach .
"I did not come here to attend this wedding !"a female voice ringed from behind and both of turned to find the person they were talking about .
"I just came to take my daughter away . I have no interest to attend this wedding. Now will you call her ? "An irritated voice continued .
"Sure ! "Shrena said uncomfortably . It was awkward when the person you are backbiting about stands front of you .
"Arnabh go and call Archali ! " Shrena ordered her son who looked at her with big eyes .
"Oh tare zameen par don dream and go fast ! "

She ran as far as her small legs could , holding her skirt in her hands and breathing heavily she climbed the stairs up to the terrace.
Her sweaty face lighted with a big smile as she saw the person her eyes were searching for all these while.
"Huh ! You were I searched for you like just every where ! "Taking breath in middle she completed the sentence .
The man she was talking to smiled and turned towards her and kept the phone down .
"Aree baba ! What happened ? Why have you taken the whole world in your head ? " asked he laughing at her innocence.
"You are laughing ! I have to tell you so much important thingie and u ! "Archali said in a complaining voice keeping her hands in her hips.
Arjun could not control again , letting his laugh out looking at the little figure in front of him cutely complaining to him .
"First of all it is not 'so much important ' 'it is very important' grammatical error and second it is thing not thingie ! "
Archali buried her head in her hands as she heard the most least expected reply .
"Okay okay baba tell me what's the matter ? "
Her eyes widened suddenly with excitement and she started to jump around as she opened her mouth to speak .
"I want you to meet someone very special ! "
"Who ? "
"Someone . Now come with me "and before he could react she pulled him and forced him to walk with her .
"Slowly slowly . I am coming na "

They reached the spacious garden and Archali left the his hand and looked here and there as if searching for someone . She suddenly stopped looking and started running.
Arjun tried to stop her but she ran and hugged a lady from back . Arjun stopped his steps and just kept looking .
The lady smiled at the small girl and turned back and her sight almost made Arjun fall on his knees .

Panchali felt small hands envelop her waist and a smile had immediately decorated her face knowing who the hand belonged to . She turned back to see the most excepted person but turned out looking at the most unexpected person .
Her eyes could not believe to look onto the hazels . The same hazels she had not seen for many years , her body trembled at the sight of the figure in front of her which was not rare to her but it did pinch her immediately .
Even the person opposite could not believe his eyes on seeing the lady he had thought he would never see again .
_ 7 years 11 months before_
"Panchali Di ! Panchali Di . Arjun Bhai said he would give you break up ! "
The voice immediately reached the ears of the person who had fire in her eyes and anger in heart .
"What ? How dare he ! "Panchali voice expressed her anger clearly .
...
"Mr Arjun how dare you give me break up ? "
"Why can not I ?"
"Because you just can not . "
"And why can not I do so ? "His confident voice made her feel irritate .
"Because I don want you to ! "Panchali replied angrily . Arjun tried hard to suppress his laughter looking at her such state but maintained his confident look .
"I can give you break up . That's the only right every boyfriend has " he replied proudly .
"But you can not give me break up ! Cause I don want you to ! " she replied in the same aggressive tone as before not knowing that he was enjoying her this mode.
"Of course as if I would take permission from you for dumping you ! "

"So you do not want break up ? "Shalini asked her daughter who was busy gulping down scopes and scopes of ice cream .
"Of course not . And even if there is a break up then he can not dump me I should be the one dumping him " Panchali said not taking her eyes off her ice cream .
"Oh god ! Both of your egos ! Just let them go . Till when will you both fight like this ? You both know each other from the past six years and live together . The best solution to these problems and fights is only one ...marriage ! " Panchali almost choked down the ice cream she was having . She coughed and was quickly treated by water .
"You know that he will never agree " she said sipping the last droplets of water in her mouth .
"He won't but you would have to make him up . But do you want to marry ? "
Panchali did not reply to her mother's query but suddenly closed her mouth and ran to the restroom .
She felt her stomach clinch in pain as the ice cream passed out her throat and mouth .
"Oh god what happened ? "Shalini asked her daughter worriedly .
"Nothing mom . I threw up . " Panchali said calmly washing her face and gargling her mouth.
"That's why I told not to have so much ice creams . But you do not listen to me " Panchali barely listened to her mother's complain instead her mind was thinking something else.

"Are you finally ending this relation or are you marrying her ? "Sarita , Arjun's small sister asked him banging her hands in the table .
"Relax . " Arjun tried to calm his sister down .
"I can not relax . I need an answer and a proper one . Either marry her or leave her forever don keep playing with her feelings every time Bhai ! so whats your decision ? " Sarita annoyed voice made Arjun face her .
"Ummm ..."Arjun thought for a while and then replied "isn't salt too less in the chicken ? "
"Bhai ! Just finish this relation ! "
"Okay okay . I will apologise to her tomorrow now will let me eat .?" Arjun agreed finally to a point .
"I can not believe this ! whatever u wanna do Good . Now have your dinner fast sleep fast wake up fast and go to her fast and apologise. " she ordered as she left the place making noises .
"God ! Sometimes it feels like that she is not my younger sister but my mother !" Arjun said nodding his head in disappointment .

Panchali changed herself into light night clothes and filled her mouth with scope of vanilla ice cream but again had to retreat to the bathroom . She did not know why she was throwing up today very frequently .
She gave up on vanilla also and threw it in the dustbin . There goes another one she thought sadly as she saw her favourite ice creams on waste.
Bored , she flipped across the channels until one advertisement caught her attention . She thought for a while and then picked her phone and dialled a number .

"Omg ! Can't believe you called me , ready to apologise are you ?" Asked Arjun arrogantly .
"Apologise my foot ! "Draupadi replied in equal arrogance. "Anyways tell me what are you doing ? "
"Umm " Arjun thought for a while until a naughty thing occupied his mind .
"I m a bit busy with my date okay . "
"What ? " Panchali heart almost popped out hearing that . "How dare you date someone when we still are in relation . It has just been ten days of our fight and you are taking advantage . You boys I say ..." She started complaining .
"Sssh ! Relax I was just joking re ! Why are taking so seriously . Now tell me what's the matter ? "
Panchali almost wanted to kill him for joking like that . But then she decided to divert the topic into what was important.
"The matter is that I need you to Bring me black current ice cream right now . "
"What ? That's why you called me ? "
"Yup and with that also bring blueberry cheesecake with no icing but strawberries and yes bring it in fifteen minutes I can not wait more and do not come directly use the balcony " she ordered him .
"Wait a minute . I am not even coming there so why are even giving me details ? " Arjun asked surprisingly . He could not believe how can she order him without being sure if he will follow it . But she just cut the phone . Haha he was not at all going there .

"If only I was able to follow my mind for once in a while instead of my heart " helplessly thought Arjun as he stood in front of his lady love's balcony with ice cream and the cheesecake .

He finally climbed the balconies and reached her room . He entered it normally as if owing it .
"Finally you are here ! "Panchali exclaimed excitedly .
And before Arjun could realise she took away the pack from his hands and opened it .
He stared at her in her short dressnand his mind was haunted with naughty thoughts .
"What's this ? " her angry voice brought him back to conscious .
"What ? "
"I said you to bring blueberry cheesecake not strawberry cheesecake ! "Panchali said angrily .
"Oh they were out of blueberry . " he said shrugging his shoulders.
"So how could you bring this cake ! When I even did not want it ! "She shouted at him throwing the cake .
"What should I have done then ? At ten in the night which bakery is open with all kinds of items ! " he shouted with equal range .
She looked at him for while fearing his anger then suddenly broke into tears and after a minute started crying . Arjun could not believe this , why was she crying now ?
"Okay okay baby I m really sorry please forgive me " he apologised sincerely as he brought her into a embrace.
"Why are even crying . Please do not cry "he continued wiping her tears.
"Why did u shout at me ? "
"I m sorry , I din mean it really sorry . Kill me punish me but do not cry . U know how much I m scared of girls crying please don cry " he apologised . he kissed her forehead as slowly her sobs lowered .
"I m sorry for everything that happened between us . I m responsible for this " he said looking into her eyes .
"No don apologise I don know what's happening to me from morning I m acting too weird ." she apologised too .
"So you forgive me ? "She nodded to his question .
"Ready to come back to me ? "he asked again .
"Yup but only on one condition you will never fight with me again . Promise ?" She forwarded her hand .
He took her hands and kissed it . "Promise "
...
"Ma ! " the soft voice brought both of them back to the present .
They both looked at the little one who looked at both of them confused .
There was silence and both of them did not know how it would be destroyed . They just looked at each other either with love or with anger or with amusement , their faces could not say it.
Neither she saw the same flirtatious look in his face nor he saw the same childish innocence in her eyes they just saw each other ...
