As Sathya points out, Moni getting affected is the only valid point in favour of Gayu. Otherwise she deserves what Kumar plans.

How easily they have forgotten Gayu not only planned for murder of Moorthy and Ega, but also her attempt on Prakash - knife stab at the beach, her thakidu thathams during Ragini Vasanth marriage.

If the director has forgotten all those, he can take a memory revision class from DM forum makkal😆

What does satya gain being what she is? I mean its good to be a nice human but to take up so much of 🤬 from gayu and on top of it still try to support or defend her does not make any sense. 🤔
