It's great that we are able to discuss and share our perspectives on these characters. Without doubt, Mantu and Amaya are both at fault. I agree, Mantu should not have let his love or his dear of rejection or even Uma's manipulations for that matter affect his friendship with Amaya. They both shared such a beautiful friendship. They'd both been through so much and found a certain solace, support and companionship in each other that was and should have been more important than a silly oath to Amaya and a blow to his ego for Mantu.
Having said that, I really feel both of them will not get a clearer perspective until Uma is the only one who is privy to their feelings. I hope they talk to someone, anyone else, about this (because it's futile to hope that they'll act as responsible, mature adults and talk things out among themselves). I hope Rama and Rachita's love story teaches these two fools what love actually is. Till then, we can only keep hoping for the best!
@loveleen this is a really great forum and i hope we can remain like this. the people here are all level headed and fun to have a discussion with. really loving the forum. its what is keeping me linked to TSM through this blah phase but I'm gonna watch from next week onwards, i feel like i owe rama and rachi's love story that TRP, they're fab.
@bold neet ur 100% right about the maturity part its too much to hope for from the cvs cos rational adults don't exist in the serial plane. but thinking about it I'm kind of enjoying the juxtaposition of ManYa and RaRa relationship BECAUSE they're so different from one another. mantu and amaya BELIEVE their love to be epic but they can barely manage to get their, sorry for the language and the lack of a better term, shit together to even live out their passion. it'll be really funny to see, and an eye opener for them as well- whilst they fight over rama's state and rudra's actions and rachita, and fight to keep rama away from rachu, RaRa will get together under their very noses. rama and rachi will fight for their love and show mantu and amu what its really about. rama will show mantu that ego is irrelevant in love, even through rejection you can't deny the person you love. and rachi will teach amu that love isn't a game and hopefully how to think like a normal person again đ
