The Hypocrisy-as you rightly describe it is rooted in double standards.

Fully agree..he has no sense of judgement at all n the irony of it is, he thinks he sm insaaf ka devta along with shantiya..ya okay his principles r in place ..n many men r mamma's boys n favor sisters also..accepted..but its unbelievable that one can misunderstand his own children to this extent ..not love them and not communicate with them ..humiliates them in public? Let nyone slap them ..and on what issues? Juice nai laaye, saare nai laaye, dhakka diya , paani gira dia and all that ..

TM. Exactly my sentiments. I am surprised that nobody raised an eyebrow when he said he was kidnapped. Only Sahil thought of asking.

Comparing Anupam to Raghav, granted Anupam was hasty in getting his daughter married without any investigation but he did it out of love. Where as Raghav is shown as a hypocrite, always citing his mother and sister. Rest of them go to hell for him IMO.

It would be nice if Shivam takes Riya and lives in Anupam's house, then he will be able to see what love is between a father and kid.
