However, Nandini's expectation of what school does was based on the practical application of education in life, told to her by kundan kamli shivam or Anandi. What nobody has told this girl is that to make use of education in life , one needs to first learn basics. This was meant to be the teacher's job who straight went into teaching barakhadi. He should have told some stories, given a background on why education is important, why it takes so long to study, what are the methods of studies eyc.She is bored because she can't connect. That's all.The question is if she didn't like school why did she lie? She could have told either Mangala or Kushore and they could have digged deep into her problem to be able to motivate her.I remember as a child there were often days when I didn't want to go to school. And my parents used to make continous efforts to tell me why schooling is important. Often during Parents teacher meeting my mom would tell my teachers about my interests and they would develop me accordingly. Lot of hard work goes in educating a child both by parents and teachers. So Nandini's case is very normal. Lets see how it shapes.
i agree wid u.The problem lies with creatives. They cannot show any profession - teaching included realistically. The best so far had been Anandi's adult education classes and then Shiv's explanations to Amol about evaporation etc. Dadisa's rotation and revolution was also good - but it did not make enough impact because this was too basic for the class she was studying - children in much lower classes know about these things.
Coming to Nimboli and the methods of teacher - I already posted my views in some other thread. Nowhere in schools the teacher goes straight to barahkhadi - a process students can learn only after getting familiar - both oral and written - about all the vowels and consonants. Hindi varnmala is vast and takes time to learn because of matras anuswar and visarg etc. Students starting school gets used to school discipline and basic knowledge of language etc. at the right time. Older students going first time to school should be treated with an approach similar to adult education. They are familiar of many words because their vocabulary is vast compared to a 4 years old starting nursery class. But they are not aware of school discipline and "boring" details of language/maths etc. However, due to their age - they can learn fast if the method becomes interesting and innovative. Some practical approach, some charts/models/alphabet toys etc. would help draw their attention. The boring regime should start only when the students grasp simple things like - to spell out a word they first need to recognise alphabets individually and then know correct application of matras etc. For maths also similar approach will yield better result.Nimboli was shown to go to school only for one day - it is not clear for how many days she is bunking school and telling lies. I don't think it is motivational problem or she is affected by taunts of Harki and Kundan. It is mostly because she likes to play with her friends and this going to school has come as a convenient ruse to get so much time to be with friends (how Pampo gets that time is still a mystery - is not she supposed to be busy with household work and a cruel mother in law 😆). Knowing creatives - it is all about drama - they will not deal with real educational problems and more importantly - any real solution to the problems.
