The action hero insisted on redoing the shot even after getting hurt
Bollywood's very own action king, Akshay Kumar, recently injured his leg while shooting for a song sequence for his much awaited film, Singh is Bliing. According to the sources, the Singh is Bliing star was supposed to jump from a fire hula loop while filming for the song, Tung Tung Baje. While doing so, his leg accidentally caught fire. Immediate actions were taken to extinguish the fire and rescue the 47-year-old actor.
A source who witnessed the whole situation said that it is indeed notable that Akki prefers to do all stunts by himself, without using a body double. "So while jumping through the burning hula loop, his leg caught fire," he says. This is not it. Even after the accident, Akshay insisted on performing the stunt again, confirms the source.
Singh is Bliing is presented by Dhaval Jayantilal Gada and Grazing Goat pictures LLP and produced by Ashvini Yardi. It has Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson in lead roles and is slated to release on October 2
