Why Indian Idol always choose the wrong person to win? It doesn't mean that I don't like Prashant at. I like him, as well as I like Abhijit Shawant. But guys don't you think that Amit Paul, N.C.Karunya, or Amit Sana are even more deserving person to be the crowned for?

Anima My friend, You have to realize that politics exists everywhere even in music. Did you not hear the judges who have experience in the industry say that Amit has an exceptional voice, whereas Prashant has a regular voice, and ofcourse he can sing but not as well as Amit could. The only reason Prashant won is because of the marketing. They show him in a uniform serving his country and ads like this play on peoples emotions. I am from Canada so I could not vote, but I watched every episode and I personally thought Amit should have won. The the Nepalis and the police force came out by the thousands to vote. Amit did not have that backing. But Anima, I would not worry, Amits voice will take him where he needs to go. I can guarantee you that he will have more playback singing contracts than Prashat. Time will tell as to who the better singer is.
