The Murder' actress Mallika Sherawat, who auditioned for the role of Aamir Khan's wife in Dangal' has lost the role to Sakshi Tanwar. Now Sakshi Tanwar best known as Parvati of Kahani Ghar Ghar Ki' has bagged the coveted role. 42-year-old Sakshi has been confirmed to play 50-year-old Aamir Khan's wife, which sounds to be an appropriate match.
The biopic based on Mahavir Phogat will see Aamir Khan playing the role of a wrestler father of two female wrestlers, Geeta and Babita, who made India proud of their achievement.
Four actresses are confirmed for playing the role of younger and older versions of Mahavir's daughters - Fatima Shaikh and Zaira Wasim as Geeta, Sanya Malhotra and Suhani Bhatnagar as Babita. They are currently living at Aamir's former Bandra home and undergoing training. It is believed that the perfectionist also occasionally lands there and joins them in the training sessions as well as has meals together.
The film also stars Heropanti' actor Vikram Singh and Rajkummar Rao. Meanwhile, Aamir Khan gained 90 kg weight to step into the role of wrestler Mahavir Phogat.
Speakinga bout Sashi, she is a noted television actress. She is best known for her role in 'Bade Ache Lagte Hain' alongside Ram Kapoor. Lately, she starred in 'Ek Thi Nayika'.
