Disclaimer: These awards nominations were held as of the promotions and status of each development team member in June 2015. Any changes that happened after June had to be overlooked, therefore we apologize in advance. Also, please note that these awards are just for fun and a break from the tension throughout the year, therefore this under no circumstances makes way for derogatory remarks or mockery towards any of the Development Team member. Please be advised that any such remarks or comments will immediately be deleted.

*In the audience.*

Shruti: What do you think? Will they fight?

Mango: I doubt it. They're coming as posh 90s' ladies.

Gur: I thought they dropped that idea.

Melz: Who are you 3 talking about?

Mango: Our hosts for the evening!

Melz: Oh you mean Saru, Moo, and Minion?

Shruti: Shh. We mean Saraa, Munni, and Shreya. Use their full names for god's sake.

Announcer: Ladies and gentlemen,welcome to the biggest award night of the year,

Shruti: What the heck are they wearing?!!

Melz: Gowns. And I must say they are looking quite posh indeed.

Shreya: YO!

Saraa: What the heck was that?

Shreya: Oye the 90s language girl. You gotta use the 90s language!

Munni: Word! For those who didn't get that it means I agree.

Shreya: Okay if we explain every word we are going to use then it'll take us forever to get through this night. And that is so not dope!

Saraa: Err say what?

Munni: She's saying that's not cool.

Saraa: Umm...aren't we here to give away awards?

Munni: Yeah and it's the Retro DT Awards!

Shreya: So we have to be sooo retro in our junk man!

Munni: In other words, for all those guys and gals out there who don't understand a word of what we're saying we have only one thing to say.

Shreya: That's brutal man, but we gotta do what we gotta do.

Saraa: So get a dictionary, sit down, and let the Retro DT awards begin!!!

Shreya: This night is like sooo divided into several parts.

Munni: And each part has its junk.

Saraa: She means speciality. Junk is just a slang we can use for any noun.

Shreya: Buzz kill!

Munni (for added benefit): Word chica! Saraa is definitely boring!

Saraa: Okay, okay, let's not go all salty on me.

Munni: We aren't. We're going postal.

Shreya: And as it is the greenies have already announced that we're postal. So might as well accept it.

Melz: SCORE!

Shreya: Eat my shorts!

Saraa: Shreya really has the language down pat.

Munni: She's freaking out Saraa. Shreya chill out chica. Chill out.

Saraa: Okay you have this language down pat as well Munni.

Shreya: Can we please just get on with it?

Shreya: I think these guys are smart enough to catch on guys.

Saraa: And if they aren't then we'll tell that the first section of the night is the Bollywood and TV Character Section!

Shreya: And of course how can we start our retro night without these two friends man!

Saraa: They are the epitome of friendship. They define the word friendship. In fact you just can't get away from being called by this name if you are best friends with someone!

Munni: Come on people. Use that junk!

Shreya: It's the Jai Veeru of DT award!

Saraa: And this award goes to the ever loving, ever laughing, ever amazing...

Shreya (interrupting): Next think you know she'll say evergreen as well.

Munni: Since Saraa can't seem to be getting to the point, this award goes to -RD- and hinz!

Saraa: Oye! Stop stealing my thunder!

*Absolute silence falls over the hall suddenly.*

Munni (clearing her throat): Why are both of you so quiet suddenly?

Shreya: We're trying to get our silence to speak.

Saraa: Yeah like...*mimicking Amitabh Bachchan*...Vijay Dinanath Chauhan.

Shreya (rolls eyes): Sorry Mr. Bachchan. That was so not scripted.

Saraa: What?

Munni: That was really brutal Saraa. Really bad.

Shreya: And because she just ruined the whole fun of announcing the Vijay Dinanath Chauhan of DT award, we'll go right to the winner!

Munni: Here's welcoming Ishan on stage to take away his prize!

Shreya: Err...who's that for?

Saraa (rolls eyes): Okay so while this Seeta and Geeta enjoy at my expense, let's call upon jyoti06 and -Deepzz- to accept their award of Seeta Aur Geeta of DT!

Saraa: Whose got over 134,000 posts, is part of the DT, and is part of several forums?

Munni: Shruu?

Saraa: Nope.

Shreya: Yun ki half the forums I'm a part of are because I'm a DT member there now.

Saraa: Yun ki the other half are because you are a chit chatter just like Basanti.

Shreya: Have you ever felt inspirational?

Saraa: Just repeat your earlier one.

Saraa: Why did you just do that?

Shreya: To introduce the next award. The Prem of DT award!

Munni: And your dialogue is exactly the opposite of that! Because this is for the most lovable and charming DT member!

Saraa: Oh shut up Munni. You're just saying that because you're one of the winners.

Shreya: Yep that's right. The 2 winners of this lovely award are jyoti06 and munnihyderabad. NOOO! My Prem!!!

Saraa (rolls eyes): Stop overacting Shreya.

Saraa: Dang that!

Munni: Yep so the next award is the Indravadhan Sarabhai of DT award!

Shreya: And for those of you dudes who have never watched Sarabhai v/s Sarabhai, Indravadhan is the Devil's Advocate!

Munni: He loves to counter anything you say. Anything!

Shreya: That's why the winner of this award has to obviously be a Devil's Advocate.

Saraa: And the winner is souro!

Shreya (sniffling): How come I didn't get this award? If I'm Basanti it does mean I'm the most active as well.

Saraa: So you say.

Munni: And obviously the DTs think otherwise which is why the Hatim of DT has gone to someone else.

Saraa: And that someone else has already won 3 awards!

Shreya: Hmph. So the Hatim of DT goes to jyoti06!

Saraa (grumbling): Why is everything about being nice, kind, and sweet going to Munni?

Munni (innocently): Because I'm nice, kind, and sweet?

Shreya: No I think she bribed the DTs.

Munni: Don't you wish. I'm just born welcoming and kind.

Saraa (rolls eyes): Whatever. Just take your Kashish Sinha of DT award and close the topic.

Shreya: Now this is more like it!

Saraa: I know! This is totally so good!

Saraa: That's probably why she won the Tulsi Virani of DT award. Because she is a rule book follower.

Saraa: Shreya who do you turn to when you have a problem?

Munni: I turn to my MB, I mean Melz.

Munni: I guess that explains how Melz made a clean sweep on this award.

Shreya: So Aahaana come on up and get your Parvati Agarwal of DT for being the best person to go to when we have a problem! And people write down your problems and start bothering her.

Saraa (imitation): Shreya kuch toh gadbad hai.

Shreya (face palm): Puhlease Saraa. Don't even try. This is my area of expertise so let me do it.

Munni: Of course that doesn't explain how you didn't win this award.

Shreya: Well I guess people just don't see the CID DT in me yet.

Saraa: Or maybe they just think you're a joker.

Shreya (calmly): Eat my shorts Saraa. Eat my shorts.

Munni (clucking disapprovingly): I expect better from someone who wants to be the ACP Pradyuman of DT.

Shreya: And I expect more kind words from someone who just won the Kashish Sinha of DT award.

Saraa (admonishingly): Girls, girls. Chill out!

Shreya (sarcastically): Yes mother.

Saraa: Ouch. So before Shreya goes all postal on us for not winning the ACP Pradyuman of DT award, let's invite *Shruti* on stage to collect this award.

Munni: Because Shruti has been unanimously chosen as the DT who nothing can be hidden from!

Shreya (singing): Oh yeh meri life hai. Mujhe jeene do. Yeh meethi meethi sur dil ko mere bhi gungunane do. Ho yeh meri life hai!

Saraa: Dang! You remember the lyrics of that song?

Shreya: It's just so catchy that it got stuck in my brain and now doesn't leave!

Munni: That's true. And Pooja Malhotra was just so happy in her own world that her attitude got contagious!

Saraa: Is that why there are so many Pooja Malhotras in our DT as well?

Shreya: Yep.

Saraa (excitedly): GOAL!

Shreya (rolls eyes): You don't need to make it so obvious that you're talking about the Sports Section of the DT Awards.

Saraa: I don't need you to tell me what to do.

Munni: Fine. Since you can do this yourself let's bounce Shreya.

Shreya: I'm with you on that.

Saraa: Woah wait a minute! I didn't mean I could do everything myself.

Shreya: Ah okay. So let's get started shall we?

Munni (confused): How can you change sides so easily Shreya?

Saraa: And this is quite easily explainable.

Shreya: So just like Sachin Tendulkar has probably had the longest run as a cricket player, this DT member has had the longest run on IF as a DT as per fellow DT members.

Munni: And no points given on guessing who won here!

Saraa: It's the one and only person with a yummy fruit username...mango!

Shreya: All that and a bag of chips.

Saraa (confused): Say what?!!

Shreya: That's one phrase you'll never catch these 2 people saying.

Munni: Yep because this next award is for someone who is calm and composed and not used to getting attention.

Saraa: Ah now I get it. You're talking about the Anil Kumble of IF DT award. Right?

Shreya: Yep.

Munni: And this award goes to gk_09 and ..Naina..!

Saraa: Is being diplomatic good or bad?

Shreya: Depends on which context it's being used in.

Saraa: Well in this case it's being used for DTs by fellow DTs.

Munni (smugly): Then it's good. No doubt about it.

Saraa: So if these 2 people are being called Imran Khan of IF DT then it's good?

Shreya: Yep.

Shreya (impatiently): Misek for god's sake! Misek has been voted as the youngest and most successful DT member!

Munni: Good idea. She needs to collect this award as well along with you.

Shreya: Yeah because us DTs think you two are the perfect DT members for fending off trouble.

Saraa: Okay, so while these 2 keep agreeing with each other in their language, let's start by bringing up the first award of this next category! Shreya can you stop trying to steal this award?

Shreya (innocently): Who me? I didn't do anything.

Munni (snorts): Yeah and I'm the Queen of England.

Shreya (snorts): Okay fine Your Majesty. Now explain to Gur why she didn't get this award, while Saraa and I give away the Winnie the Pooh award to the most innocent member of us DTs...devashree_h!

Saraa: Yep because this award goes to CT_Shreya and Angel-Jot., our DT's very own Tom and Jerry. This two just can't live without their fights or each other.

Munni: Can I say clean sweep?

Shreya: Why?

Munni: Because this one was a clean sweep. Almost everyone voted for you on this one.

Shreya: Which one?

Saraa: Well it's kind of obvious given you are all over IF. Dora.

Shreya (rolls eyes): I'm not everywhere. It just looks like that.

Munni: Yeah, yeah. Excuses, excuses. So like since it's sooo obvious...the IF DT's Dora goes to CT_Shreya!

Munni: Have you ever felt like asking why you're here?

Shreya: All the time. I ask myself all the time how I got stuck with you and Saraa.

Munni (wacking Shreya over the head): Not here you idiot. I mean IF.

Shreya (throwing a sponge on Munni's face): I got that you bunk!

Saraa: So while the two of them attack each other, let's call on the one cartoon who just represents boredom to give away this award to these...hawww 6 people?...I mean to these 6 people.

Shreya (ducking the rubber duck): She means the award is the IF DT's Garfield award!

Munni (after getting a rag in the face): And the 6 winners are Jayshree, *Resham*, Wafah, supercool3, migan, and nithyamkv.

Saraa: Everything back to normal?

Shreya: Yeah Her Highness has gone to wash her face and mouth with soap.

Munni (sarcastically): That was real witty.

Saraa: Munni since when have you become so bitter? You're supposed to be a sweet girl!

Shreya: Yeah what's the dillio?

Munni: Just get on with it Saraa. Else we'll have to hear Shreya's bad wittiness. *face palm*

Saraa: So because we made it so obvious the next award is for the wittiest DT. And that is IF DT's Jerry Mouse!

Shreya: And it goes to two people.

Munni: And they are .Vrish and -RD-!

Shreya: I think the people here understand me well. Know what I mean?

Saraa: Yep because even with our 90s junk we're making sense.

Munni: But obviously not everyone is like us.

Shreya: What's up doc?

Munni: She was giving a hint to what our next award is. And everyone who has ever seen Bugs Bunny or Looney Tunes knows that the next award is the IF DT's Bugs Bunny by now!

Saraa: Ah right. And just like Bugs Bunny can confuse any of his pursuers, -Anarkali. can confuse any good person as well. So Amanda come on up and collect your award and then scram!

Shreya: Saraa why are you always so hyper?

Saraa: Because I drink a lot of coffee?

Munni: Nope. I think it's just your persona. You're just an energetic person.

Shreya: Hmph. That defines like half of the world including me and you Munni.

Munni: It also defines Popeye.

Saraa: Gee thanks for making it so obvious.

Shreya: So for those who still didn't understand it's now time for the IF DT's Popeye, which goes to Saraa as in illuminated!

Munni: And look at her light up.

Shreya (rolls eyes): That was a brutal pun Munni.

Shreya: Can I be the one to say that your words are about to bite you in the backside Saraa?

Saraa: Well she obviously would since she's the winner of the IF DT's Tweety!

Shreya: Yep that's right. munnihyderabad has just won IF DT's Tweety award for being the sweetest and friendliest of us all...I protest!

Saraa: I do too!

Munni: well I don't!😉

Shreya: And as we wrap up this category I feel too lazy to say anything suddenly.

Saraa: I'm with you. Heck I feel like putting up my feet and just calling it a day.

Munni: Okay girls stop going all Homer Simpson on me. Help me finish up here already!

Shreya (lazily): Naa you can do it. Me and Saraa are gonna get a cool lemonade and under that tree sit.

Munni: Ugh you're so lazy you just made so many grammar mistakes and you don't even know it Grammar Nazi!

Since these 2 have abandoned me and grammar I guess it's up to me to announce that the last award of this category is the IF DT's Homer Simpson and it goes to their fellow BollyCurry partner -Anarkali.! Oh and by the way wait until Gur and Jen hear your bad grammar. You both are so gone.

The Parivaar Awards.

Saraa: This junk is for the teams of different forums excluding the coolbies.

Munni: And of course the only way a DT parivaar can be complete is if they solve issues fast and quick!

Shreya: And reminiscent of them is the CID parivaar or team who can solve any case within a couple of hours or couple of days.

Shreya: Bang on!

Munni: I smell an award in the making for us Shreya.

Shreya: Oh yep that it is.

Saraa: Because the Nach Baliye 7 team has won!

Shreya: Congrats munnihyderabad, migan, -RD-, and *Resham*!

Munni: Congrats to you too Shreya! It's so sad that Resham is no longer part of the DT team though.

Munni (rolling eyes): That wasn't funny.

Shreya: I wasn't trying to be funny. I was just announcing the next award, you old school chica.

Saraa: Now that's funny.

Munni: What is so funny about that? She just abused me and you're laughing?

Shreya: Okay, okay girls. Let's not start a fight. And let's not bore people with our bad humour and bad wit.

Munni: True. We should leave that to the professionals who won the Dekh Bhai Dekh Parivaar Award.

Saraa: And they are the Chat Club DTs!

Munni: Fine. So the next award is the Sarabhai Parivaar Award for those who haven't understood yet.

Saraa: And just like the Sarabhai family was very active, this is being given to the DT team that is the most active.

Shreya: And I redeem myself here by winning this award along with my partners -Misek- and -Anarkali. for the Kaisi Yeh Yaariaan DT!

Shreya: We have a few awards that will go out to some of the coolbies that our DTs have voted for!

Saraa: And first up is the CID Award for the coolbie who knows everything about IF. Literally!

Shreya: Err I think you mean figuratively. Because no one can ever know everything about IF.

Munni: Well except Vijay.

Saraa: So welcome on stage -Koeli_Appy- who has won the CID Award!

Saraa: Did you guys ever watch the Jaspal Bhatti Flop Show?

Shreya: No.

Munni: Not really.

Saraa: Shreya I totally expected you would have given it's along your line.

Shreya (bristling): What the heck is that supposed to mean?!!

Saraa: Well it's like a comedy that has been made just for you. Spammer.

Munni: Correction Saraa. She's Basanti and Dora.

Shreya: Eat my shorts!

Saraa: We seem to be hearing a lot of that from you.

Shreya: If I could swear on a live show I would.

Munni: Let her swear. Meanwhile let's call on .Tanya. for the Jaspal Bhatti Flop Show Award for being the biggest coolbie spammer!

*Shreya stomps off the stage.*

*Shreya comes back on stage in a new gown.*

Munni (raised eyebrow): Is that why you went backstage?

Shreya: Heck yeah. And to get these awards. *points to the awards she is carrying*

Saraa: Is the Dekh Bhai Dekh Award for Armu4eva in there?

Munni: Saraa that's in your hands!

Saraa: Oops. So congratulations Armu4eva for winning the Dekh Bhai Dekh Award for most active coolbie!

Shreya: Momma yeh dekho Dad ne kya likha hai?

Munni: Indravadhan! Yeh kya hai?!! Wanted aur woh bhi sirf 10 rupee ka reward?

Saraa: Maya main toh 1 rupee likhna chahta tha lekin printer ne ek aur digit maanga toh 0 laga diya.

Shreya: Yep the Sarabhais are back in town for the coolbies!

Munni: Because now it's time to award the wittiest coolbie!

Munni: But just as important are those people who used to be DTs, but are no longer part of the crew due to various reasons.

Shreya: That's why we would like to extend a warm thank you to a group of Veteran Members.

Munni: Who took the time out to make IF a better and more friendly place to be.

Saraa: And who are still as important to the DT team as they were when they were DTs.

Munni: Exactly! Like Pillsbury or Reese Puffs.

Saraa: But what do they have to do with anything?

Munni (rolling eyes): Really how dense can you be? GM can stand for General Mills as well. Duh!

Saraa: Whatever. But obviously here we're talking about the GMs as in Global Moderators so can we so like stick to the topic?

Shreya: Buzz kill chica, buzz kill!

Munni: But fine. We'd like to extend a big thank you to our GMs for their hardwork and problem-solving capabilities! So thank you to *Shruti*, Aahaana, gk_09, *Jayshree*, and mango!

Shreya: But before we give out this award we would like to have a word with all of you about our GMs.

Saraa: I think she means we want to make it extra special.

Munni: A die-hard fan of Sid and Riddhima of DMG fame, Shrutijoined IF in 2006. And while she may come across like a Hitler or strict DT, she's also got a fun-loving side.

Shreya: Quite obvious when she tried to convince me to watch South Indian movies.

Munni: Yeah well you did watch Yevadu. Anyways, people turn to her whenever they have an issue or just want to discuss something that they have come across. So thank you Shruti for being such a great moderator!

Saraa: On the other side we have an avid crick and sports fan,Aahaana or Melz. She joined in October 2005 and after 7 long years she made her way up to the position of Global Moderator. The DTs love to turn to her for assistance because she has an answer for any issue. Thank you Melz!

Shreya: Then we have the self-proclaimed Hitler of BollyCurry and the sweet GM, gk_09 or Gur. I say self-proclaimed because we call someone else Hitler. Anyways, a long-time member of IF, Gur originally joined BC and made her way to the top after much hardwork. Adding another feather in her cap, Gur then also went on to become a GM. A very big thank you to Gur!

Munni: She came, she left, and she came back again! She conquered each time, conquered the hearts of millions on India-Forums through her awesomeness. Her super cool attitude has always calmed those around her, and due to this I am happy as a goat to have had the honour of giving this special thank you speech to none other than our great greenie,mango!

Saraa: The one we all turn to when a celebrity profile picture needs to be updated, or when the permissions need to be set for the DT team who is newly promoted, it's none other than the great Jayshree. She's seen the up and the downs as a member of India-Forums from the beginning! She's an amazing person to talk to, when you get a hold of her, usually she's super busy taking care of things.

Shreya: And with that we extend a final thank you to these 5 great GMs! Thank you *Shruti*, Aahaana, gk_09, *Jayshree*, and mango!

Shreya: Nuh-uh. We still ain't done.

Saraa: We'd like to award the innovator of the DTs!

Shreya: And what better than a Steve Jobs award for that?!!

Saraa: So the Steve Jobs award for innovation goes to the one DT who has truly done something spectacular.

Shreya: And who better than...

Munni (interrupting): Than Vijay himself! For bringing us something known as IF or India-Forums!

Saraa: This man is nothing but the sole reason as to why and how India-Forums started. He first brought a small blog and then made it larger than life, he's the Steve Jobs of India-Forums, because he's always bringing something new to this website, this home to many. The man none other than Vijay Bhatter himself, the admin and one who made India-Forums happen. We thank you Sir, for making India-Forums what it is today, for giving us a place to share our mutual interests with a million others.

Munni: Before Shreya completely forgets, on behalf of the team list above; that is myself, Saraa and Shreya, we would like to thank you all out there for bearing with us, and reading through our non-stop pattar pattar. 😛

Saraa: I know chica! It was buzz hype!

Munni: Yeah but you were buzz kill for most of the night!

Saraa: Like you two were any freaking fun.

Shreya: We were more super fly than you.

Saraa: So says the girl who couldn't stop feeding her shorts to everyone.

Munni: Eat my shorts is an expression Saraa. She didn't mean it literally.

Saraa: I so was not! I was more fly than both of you combined!

Munni: You were too busy lunchn' to be any fly chica. Know what I mean.

Well done to all the winners, those that contributed nominations, voted, and participated and finally those who conducted it👏👏. The outcome is awesome and the three pretty hosts did a fabulous job👍🏼.

Its seldom the entire DTs are being appreciated for their contribution considering its a voluntary job so kudos to one and each of you who spend your time during its up and downs...⭐️⭐️⭐️.

And the Coolbies are the pillars of this forum, without them there is no discussions. I started off here as a written updater for multiple Tamil shows daily so I can imagine tolerance level each one goes through watching the shows daily and then do a WU, putting aside personal preference..hats off to all of you👏👏!
