Hero Rapes heroine 🤢

Then heroine asks judge that even if he got 7 years jail punishment who will marry her ? She was more interested in marrying him instead of giving him some kinda punishment

Then she dreams of her wedding where she happily dances on her wedding to her Rapist , then judge says meine tumko tumhara Adhikar de diya hai

Then after marriage her In-laws try their best to kill her but she was like I won't go from here I am suhagan and blah blah ...then hero aka Rapist falls in love with her and they live happily ever after

Pathetic 🤢 and our censor board passes such movies

The story was def pathetic. Disgusting to say the least.

But Rani acted very well for being the first Hindi film to feature in her career. But it wasn't a powerful debut performance unfortunately. Her dad didn't want her to go into this line of acting especially at the young age of 17 ( I believe she was around that age during this film, maybe a bit older). Her mom pushed her into the industry.

The movie was not all that

But Rani for a first time movie, was so good... i kinda knew she would go far, if she picks good roles and keeps imprioving - she will be great and she is

You are right. She's a great actress. She acted brilliantly in almost all the movies that she starred in.

Rani herself admitted on numerous occasions that she didn't have the sensibility to realise what she was putting across to the audiences. She never said it outrightly but it is quite evident that she is ashamed of that film. I think there was interview during Mardaani if I am not mistaking where she said that Aamir and SRK had watched the title song and liked her in it, and she was glad they never watched the whole film.

But like many have said here, one cannot complain about her acting.
