1) Gratitude towards those who helped you is important
Jalal never forgot that Khan baba Bairam Khan and his badi ammi Maham anga had saved his life and taken care of him no matter their betrayals
2) Never blindly trust anyone
Jalal trusted Maham anga blindly and hurt Bairam Khan, Hamida, Jodha, Ruqaiah etc even his unborn kids died because of his blind trust in her
3) Never grudge your parents, even if they are at fault sometimes
Jalal was angry on Hamida for leaving him alone with maids and took opportunity to disregard and humiliate her initially till he realized Maham's true colors
Salim was angry on his parents for punishing and sending him off to war field and to that old ladies house
4) Never show your anger on family in public(you can fight etc in private) as others shall use that against you
Jalal hated Hamida and Jodha etc and Maham openly took advantage to show them down
Salim hated his parents and Ruqaiah used that to make him an addict
5) Duty of king is above duty of a father, husband, brother or son
Jalal had to punish Maham, Bairam Khan, Jodha, Ruqaiah, Bakshi, Salim, Adham and Murad as a king not as a family member at various times.
6) No matter how much child hates his parents, parents only love their child
Jalal hated Hamida but she always thought of his good
Salim hated Jalal and Jodha but they always loved him
7) Blood is thicker than upbringing
Maham and Bairam wanted to make Jalal a ruthless warrior and a king without heart. But he finally became the caring and loving Akbar like his parents wanted him
He became forgiving like Humayun towards enemies and benevolent and caring like Hamida
Salim and Murad also started changing to imbibe their parents charcaters
8) Do not trust everything your eyes see
Zeher shishi in salima's room
Suajmal in jodha's room
Ruqaiah showing extra affection to salim and making him addict
9) Love is blind
Jallad and Casanova Jalal fell for Jodha
Salim fell for a dancer
Shivani for a karigar
10) Hate is form of love
You only hate those you love
Jalal and Jodha
Salim and anarkali

Very well said. JA life lessons tells us a lot about the personality of the main characters The phrase has a finality to it and why not, the show is over.

It will take a bit of time to accept and move on.
