I think Meher is still really really hurt by the fact that he left her. She has a lot of insecurities due to how her father treated her mother and Abeer leaving her when things became difficult just hit her achilles heel. She is trying to prove she is strong to the world... but when she is alone she knows its just a facade. We've seen her breakdown alone so many times. I don't think she can really tell her bua or her mom how she feels either. Bua just thinks Abeer is a jerk and the mom just wants to get them together. Neither of them could really understand the turmoil that goes through her heart and mind.

Whereas I don't think Abeer has ever even properly cried over the loss of their relationship. Like he told Sasha-- it didn't even take him 2 minutes to say to himself that he is moved on. I think Abeer is going to have to be the one that has to break first. Because anytime Abeer hurts Meher back all it does is reinforce his immaturity and betrayal in her mind. That she was wrong to trust him.
