Bhar De Jholi is a very famous Qawwali by Sabri brothers (I'm sure many people know this) and the makers/music composers didn't even ask permission by blatantly "borrowing" it. The least they deserve is acknowledgement. All this time I had thought they asked permission to use it.

Yes, I heard about it as well. Not sure what's going on. They gave Chand Nawab his due credit so it's strange why Pritam, Kabir and Salman wouldn't give Sabri Brothers their "due credit" . Kabir did mention many times that it's a famous qawali by Sabri Brothers.

IAs for Amjad Sabri, it could be he wanted to sing or maybe he was asking for an amount? I don't know but I do find it awkward. Also if Sabri Brothers haven't left some kind of copyright/recreating agreement for music directors which needs to be approved by Amjad (or whoever) then..I'm sorry..Amjad won't really get much far in this battle...

1st Pritam should be questioned. He is the music director. He is responsible of what he is delivering. Followed by Kabir Khan as well as Salman.

I honestly think he just wanted acknowledgement and not any amount (from the interview). He said they at least deserved a phone call.

And yeah the music director/composer is obviously the person responsible here. It's not any of the actors' job to deal with this stuff.

Moreover, this is not the first time Bollywood is copying music without taking proper rights.

I don't know much background information on SOTY DISCO DEEWANE, but even then, I don't think KJO or Vishal Shekhar ever mentioned Nazia Hasan's name during promotions when asked about the song.

belive me if they put Sabri brothers in film that much get impact Adnan sami screwed this qawali and every one knows pritam is biggest thief he always lifting music from other countries he is biggest chore
