Hello everyone,this is my very first piece of writing in this forum.I have tried to write a poem on RaRa.Please forgive me for any mistakes.Appreciation and constructive criticism are welcome.😊
What Was It?
What was it?That occurred,
When I laid these two hopeless,
Little eyes on your face.Something did come
To an end.Maybe it was the world.
As I had known it to be.
It was something beyond,
my realm of reason, or was it
a mere tryst.With someone who was
nothing more than a stranger.Or maybe it was,
a blessing meant for me.
Lost as I was in you,yet,my very own
soul, joyous for having found
yours,kept on humming the same
tune that collided with the strings
of my heart.
Was it desire?Or destiny?
Which bound me to you,
Which pushed me away from
the boundaries of sanity.Which made your name
a prayer on my lips.
Unknown you were not as I,
knew you before myself. Even before,
the Divine hand carved my soul.
To be casted on this earth,
only to meet yours.
What was it?That reduced me to
nothing more than ash.Only to rise again,
like the songbird.To ignite the flame of
love that charred my heart,
in your's too.
Wounded as my heart is,
in your everlasting love,it will
forever attempt to heal yours.To carve
a niche for itself in the paradise of
your love.
Every dream of mine is in
your name.With you being
my sole reality.To you I owe
my existence.And my fate.
Till the last day,till eternity.
