I think this might explain why Meher said she didn't want Abeer to know what has gone on in her life over the last 8 years. She doesn't want Abeer to know how vulnerable and broken she was-because she lost her husband and her baby.

i dont think so because if its miscarriage then what is in the photo frame and also when abeer said "tmari mummy wali umer abhi hoi nahi " there was not a slight change in mehers expressions she could be strong enough to hide her feeling but it seems impossible for a mother who lost her child

Thats a good point. For that scene I thought Abeer was just comparing the maturity and wisdom of Meher's mom to her, because had Abeer and Meher still been married they would have most likely had kids over a span of 8 years. I think Meher would've been very early on in her pregnancy when she lost the baby, so maybe there wasn't as much of an attachment as opposed to loosing a child later in the pregnancy but there would have been shock and vulnerability for sure. I definitely think Meher has gone through something traumatic because she mentioned to her mother " I don't want Abeer to know what has gone on in my life over the last 8 years". But then again this is all just a theory.
