I think what DD means that when he gets all excited or all worked about something he sometimes tends to go overboard. I mean if he were to find out before the marriage, he would have probably gone too excited leading to BD and NM finding out then the marriage might have been cancelled. Yes he deserves to know for sure, but I think DD is concerned regarding BD and NM finding out...I think Sid will eventually understand why it was hidden from you.
