There is just too much hugging between Mantu and Uma.
Agreed they grew up together but this over the top.
Why does she not hug Chikklu.

Yes it is too much hugging . Agreed they grew up together. but their relationship is not "defined" yet.

Is she Rakhi sister or lover? Otherwise what relation do they have? If all these years Uma did not tie rakhi to Mantu then how does he think of celebrating her marriage with his money?

There has to be an explanation for their relationship. All unexplained ones go under "rakhi" relationship.

Because they do not want to be "lovers" then they are brother and sister. if they want to be "friends" without wanting to get married or wanting to tie rakhi then what kind of relationship is it?
