I believe this is against the law nowadays since it gives rise to frauds like Sarla doing what they want so I believe nowadays the groom has to show his face as well as the bride before the ceremony for the marriage to be legal. I saw in one movie.

But I guess Sarla and Shanti will pass off their behavior as otherwise it is apashagun to see groom's face before marriage etc etc.

But if Riya gets to see the face of Amit after the marriage and she does not accept then the marriage is not legal since she thought of one person and married another. So all this fraud will be of no use if Riya finds out after marriage .

I wish she rejects Amit after the rituals on the grounds that Sarla frauded her . Because that is what the law says. Such marriages are not legal.

Frankly when Riya was dancing with the ghunghat I was annoyed beyond words. She is the stupidest person in the whole show not verifying facts not speaking to Shivam marrying in a hurry etc.

She did not think for a moment what if Shivam is not what she thinks. It is too soon to decide. She has not spoken to him enough. Or else Sarla would not be able to do the fraud.

I mean Shivam is nice and Kushiya is nice but Riya for all her modern thinking is so stupid that she decided to get married so soon.and in so much of a hurry.

Riya is toh total useless...the way she just lapped up the opportunity to marry Shivam...i really wish that the marriage with amit goes through, so that it opens her eyes...but i know thats not gonna happen...eventually she will end up with Shivam only...
