"I think I've fallen in love with someone again!" He said softly.

She looked at him and kept her hand on his and smiled, "Whom?"

"You" and he noticed her small assuring smile vanish causing her lips turn to a frown, and slowly withdrawing her hand from his.

He repeated again, " I love you Pragya"

On hearing this again, she grabbed her bag and stormed off the caf.

Pragya snapped in front of him bringing him out of his thoughts.

"Abhishekh! Where are you lost? You wanted to tell me something right?"

'Abhi! Have you lost it? How could you even think of loving someone again? Don't you remember what Ananya did? Will you be able to survive another heartbreak?'

"Abhishekh, what are you thinking? Is everything okay?"

"Pragya, I think we should leave. It's getting late" he said grabbing the bags.

"Abhishekh, is everything fine? I mean all of a sudden? You wanted to tell me something right?"

"Ah, it isn't important, I can tell you that later but now- we need to rush . We need to get ready for tonight's sangeet fuction. I hope you didn't forget." He said with a grin.

"Fine"

Pragya opened her closet and took a gorgeous orange ghagra. The ghagra was plain with simple embroidered border at the end, the blouse with sleeves upto her elbow and plain dupatta with all the mixed shades of orange.

She stood in front of the mirror pinning her dupatta to one side and turned to see if her outfit was fine to realise that the dori of her blouse wasn't tied properly.

"Di, come down fast, the sangeet is about to begin." She heard me call her and in a hurry tied her dori which again was left loose.

Abhi who was busy talking to his friends and sipping his cold drink, his eyes fell on her, she was climbing down the stairs holding her ghagra slightly up to prevent herself from stamping it. She looked up and smiled at Bulbul and her friends when she turned to see Abhishekh, and their eyes locked.

He was wearing a two piece black suit with a black shirt and a blood red tie.

She looked away and went to her friends and started talking where on the other side Abhi, was talking to his friends as well as looking at her.

"So now we start the sangeet function with a competition between the bride's side and the groom's side." announced the host for the function.

"Di, Ma. There were 10 missed calls on your phone. I was passing through our room when it rang again and I received it. She wants to urgently talk to you."

"Bulbul, is everything okay? " She asked worried taking the phone. "hello ma.? Everything's fine right? 10 missed calls? Sorry I couldn't pick it as I left the phone in the room and came downstairs."

"Pragya - I wanted to-"

Pragya couldn't hear anything more as the sangeet function had started and the music was played loudly.

"Ma, I can't hear anything. What did you say?"

"Pragya your Papa has-" She said loudly on the phone.

"Ma I can't hear anything," She said walking away from the stage and went near the kitchen where the music was not that audible.

"Ma?"

She couldn't hear anything as the call got disconnected.

"Oh no! There is no network here."

While walking out of the house she tripped making her dori open. And she didn't even realize.

"Ouch!" She balanced herself again when her phone ringed. She received it, "Hello Ma,"

"Pragya listen to me carefully. You know your college friend Rahul right?"

"Yeah. Rahul Kapoor."

"Yes. So your dad is---" the line went blank. "Hello Pragya. Can you hear me?" She checked her her the call was disconnected. Sarla dialed again but it wasn't reachable. "What has happened to her phone? Why isn't it connecting?"

Sarla tried calling me but I didn't pick it as I was busy enjoying the dance and I couldn't even hear the rings.

"Bulbul isn't picking up also I have to tell this to Pragya. What do I do now?" She said sitting down.

"Ma?" Pragya checked her phone as the her Ma's voice cracked slowly and eventually died. "Oh no. Battery's dead. I completely forgot to charge it."

Di was now on the terrace and Abhi held her wrist and before Di could see who the person was he pulled her towards him causing her back to face him.

Pragya realised that he was Abhishekh and she felt his hand touch her back, at that second she closed her eyes not understanding what was happening. He had slowly but tightly tied the knot of her for. He then slowly turned Pragya's face towards him with his one hand around her waist pulling her closer and the other hand cupped her faThey were so close with their lips just a few inches away.

They stood still for a few moments as the breeze flew gently caressing their faces. And soon then Abhi realize what was happening and stepped back. Without saying anything he just left from there while Pragya stood there trying to understand what just happened.

She then remembered that her Ma had called and she went to Abhi to borrow his phone and asked, "Abhishekh, can I please ----" and before she could even complete, he left, completely ignoring her.

"Abhishekh I --"

'What happened to him? Why do I feel that he just ignored me? No Pragya maybe he didn't hear you?' she thought.

"Di, what are you doing here? Come." I grabbed Di and pulled her near the stage.

Vivaan and Reena were dancing on the stage and we stood in front of the stage watching the dance but most of her attention was on Abhi. She kept on looking at him but he was looking away. He didn't even look once at her and that in a way disappointed her.

'What has happened to you Pragya? Why on earth are you sad? Is it because he is not looking at you?'

The sangeet function was soon over and we retired to our rooms. And tonight Abhishekh and Vivaan stayed back as he had to discuss some arrangements of the marriage.

It was dark and the full moon with billions of twinkling stars in the sky. Di stood in front of the open windows staring at the sky, as it slightly drizzled.

She remembered how he had shared his feelings with her at caf

Their little moment on the terrace.

How Abhi had ignored her.

For some reason she felt sad and with a thought that she would talk to Abhishekh tomorrow, she turned and saw Bulbul sleep peacefully. She softly opened the door and and went out.

While walking through the passage she saw a figure sitting on a rocking chair, with a guitar, humming a tune. That instant she identified the voice, it was Abhishekh.

She decided she would question Abhi and walked towards him when suddenly she slipped and fell down because of the drizzling water on the ground.

"Ah" Pragya yelped in pain.

He heard something and got up to see what happened. And he saw Di on the ground and he rushed to help her but then stopped.

"Bulbul! Bulbul." He called out to me and I came running and was shocked to see Di in pain. I rushed towards her to help her and he stood there, "Bulbul you take Pragya to your room till then I'll get the first aid." He left.

I took Di to the room who was slightly limping. By the time I brought her to the room, her right leg was slightly swollen and I had applied some ointment which Abhi had brought and then I tied the bandage.

I made Di lie down and also I went to sleep.

'Abhishekh didn't even help me. It's like he's trying to stay away from me. But why is he doing like that? Why is he?' she thought as tears formed in her eyes.

Abhi who was watching everything from the windows left to him room and lied on the bed.

'I hope she'll be fine soon'
