I hope that it isnt that Meher has a 7 yr old child off at boarding school, that would just separate meher and abeer more since its such a huge secret and he would have a right to know. Plus Meher seems pretty practical there's no way she would keep that from Abeer and even if Meher would theres no way her mother would keep that from Abeer

I also hope it isnt that she got married again that would also further divide them from each other. It really doesnt seem like either one of them has moved on in these last 8 years so I highly doubt that she got remarried. Plus the way Meher's mother acts towards Abeer it doesnt seem like she ever got remarried

Maybe the box is filled with Abeer's things and she doesnt want him to know that she still kept some of their memories

I'm sort of thinking that it might be something to do with why she took the alimony.

Or maybe what's in the box doesnt really have to do with Meher directly maybe it's something to do with their family situation, her bua or mother

I kind of think that if Abeer saw what was in the box maybe some of their misunderstanding would go away. Maybe by seeing what's inside he'll be able to understand her better
