I think it would do well. I really like the promos akki is looking beyond hot and 2 big stars I think the movie can get over 150 or even 200.

Why is Dharma not promoting it? 😕 It has great potential IMO..The trailer was decent & films with good emotional quotient usually do well..The album is underwhelming but am sure they can compensate to an extent if they promote the film well..And i actually think Karan Malhotra is a good director so its utterly weird that Dharma is being this indifferent..Atleast so far..It can still do well if its a good film but promotions go a long way in adding a few crores to the total..For now, i think it can make 100 crores if the WOM is good..Actually has the potential to be a BB if promoted well but i have no idea what they are upto 😆

Around 150. I actually wouldn't worry about the promotions, the last few weeks has been all about BB and Bahubali anyway. It's probs better they're starting now, once the buzz from those films has somewhat subsided.

I have a feeling its strategy, keep the buzz low and let content take over. Like with Piku pre-release wasn't much buzz but eventually the merit took over.

But Piku wasn't a big film anyway..The fact that it made 80 crores was a big deal and am sure the team din really expect it to be a BB cos it was a small budget film to begin with..But Brothers is supposed to be one of the bigger films to come out this year..Promotions are not a bad thing..Doesn't mean ppl who promote aren't confident about the product right? Of course there are those who go overboard but proper promotions go a long way in creating buzz esp. when the album is underwhelming..Its not a small film where they can just let content take over IMO 😆 Like i said, it can still make 100 + crores but i remember predicting it'l be a huge BB last year because it has SidM+ Akki+ Karan Malhotra+ Dharma+ a decent story to boot..Thats more than what you can ask for..At;least promote it well 😆

Yeah that is true, it is a big film so it is strange they're keeping promotions to a minimum. Maybe Akshay has something to do with it, he doesn't promote much for his films.

I voted for the 100-150 option though I think it will be closer to 150.

Swati is right, Dharma and Fox India have purposely waited till now to start promoting it. But I think a lot of fans were concerned because last week one of the distributors tweeted that they are staring full speed promotions on August 1st. But actually they started on July 30th to a degree. So this has been their strategy and I hope it works.

I also agree with Swati that the hype round BB and Bhabuli was so much in recent weeks that any early promotional work would have gotten lost. I'm hoping the two weeks aggressive promotions will give it an excellent opening. After that to me Brothers looks like the kind of movie with a will get a great WOM.

Yeah, aggressively promoted 2 weeks should be enough. And besides what more could they have possibly done, it's a film about MMA so they can't exactly have the stars dancing at reality shows now can they 😆

Worry not Brothers fans. Agneepath director, popular star-cast, good release date, clear weeks. Can't possibly fail.

Yep I agree. Content of the movie is a little tricky here and I don't think shows like Comedy Nights or reality dance shows is the right platform. But then again you never know, they might still do those next week 😆. Drishyam was promoted on Kapil and reality shows as well and that movie has a serious content as well.

Sid and Akshay are in Nagpur right now, and will he in Delhi by Monday. I'm not sure where they are going in between. But there was a tweet that their promotional tour have started.

Initially when the trailer came out I thought it will do 200 cr but the buzz has subsided since then, so not sure maybe at best 100-130 cr. The songs aren't that popular either.
