The material question here is not how life will treat Pooja; it is whether Anandi is even handed in the way she treats her students.
It is a well established trait in BV that close relatives/ friends/associates will be treated with kid gloves while strangers will be punished and slapped.
Doesn't Anandi's gang slap grooms who do Bal Vivah? But look at how gently and with great understanding and compassion Mannu is being handled.
It is not my case that Mannu and Pooja should be severely punished. While the law is the same for everyone, there can be mitigating circumstances for punishment.
The question then is: if there are mitigating circumstances for M and P -- Mannu's anger at perceived injustice, their youth etc -- there were mitigating circumstances for Nidhi too. These should have been considered, not later, but in the very first instance when she was thrown out and made to sit in the sun
I know Anandi went against her folks twice -- when she handed out a panchayat decision against Nandu and when she released the file against her father-in-law.
As against this there are scores of instances when she overlooked brazen crimes , DS, Jagya and DB being among them.
