Episode 2 Take:The King & The Queen

Today's Episode gave us a glimpse of our present king and the future queen 😳 .. Yes they both come from two different world , yet they r quite similar when it comes to the longing and loneliness that they both r going through in their respective lives right now ..

Ranaji is the King like he said in his own words .. He has everything that one can just dream of from a reputed post in Army to a Royal heritage to the most reputed title of "Rana" , yet the sad irony here is the fact that he knows how his own family is trying to kill him ..He does not fear death but what he fears is how they might loose all the Royal Heritage if the plotting and politics thats being played currently in his family comes out in open .. The way he does that sarcastic talk to Munimji , its crystal clear how he is aware of the politics thats being played out by his own Chacha and son .. He knows whats happening behind his back but unfortunately he cannot really expose it unless he has a concrete proof ...I thought Sid was exceptionally good depicting the sarcasm with that smirk on his face yet keeping the class and dignity of a prince intact in his voice modulation 👍🏼


Ranaji knows that he is surrounded by enemies who r noone but his own people and thats where he finds himself lonely and mayb secretly longing for some true love and peace of mind .. 🤔

Coming to Gayatri , she may not b the queen but her actions are no less than that of a Queen 😎 .. She actually has all the makings of a queen as she knows how to keep everyone happy without showing her own pain and at the same time she knows how to speak up and fearlessly voice out her opinion if something unfair is going around ... Isn't this what a Queen is all about 😎...


Gayatri knows how to hide her pain with that effortless smile on her face but just like Ranaji , she too is coming from a family where her own people r her enemies ..Her own Bhabhis treat her like their personal servant and dont want her to get married so that she can serve them all her life 😒... Gayatri is well aware of their intentions , yet she never complains .. She is content with the fact that she is serving for her family .. But deep inside she does feel the vaccuum of being lonely ..She too secrely is longing for some true love and affection just like Ranaji .. No wonder she goes all dreamy eyed hearing about the Prince ..She might cover up with a lie that she wants to stay in her Maayka whole life but deep inside her mother knows that just like any other girl she too desires a soulmate for whom she can dress up like a bride and someone who can admire her beauty ...

Gayatri shares a beautiful bond with her Mother ... Like any other mother , she too wants her daughter to get married and not just remain a servant to her Bhabhis whole life ... Loved the Mother-daughter bonding here especially the way her mother encourages her to dress up and live for herself instead of always serving others .. She is not those typical 40s mother who will curse their daughter for being a manglik .. Dhe instead encourages her daughter to live for herself and b positive about her marriage .. Thats hjow a mother should b 👍🏼 .. But I wonder why Gayatri was hiding those books from her mother ...Is it like her family dont want to see the daughters educated ..that typical conservative 40s thinking ?? 🤔... Will have to wait and watch but for now loved the mother-daughter bonding .. Remains to b seen if Ranaji shares same bond with his mother too ...



Scene of the Episode got to b the one where Gayatri lashes out at the guard without knowing that its none other than Ranaji on the horse after the pot mishap 😛.. I wonder if Ranaji was secretly impressed with the fearless attitude of Gayatri , the way she defends her actions courageously 👍🏼..Like I said earlier , this scene sort of indicates how Gayatri has all the makings of a queen ..She knows how to fight for what is right and what is wrong without any fear ... Loved the way she made it clear about how the pot falling was just an accident and not intentional but the way the guards gatecrashed in the house is definitely wrong especially when the men of the house r not present 👏👏 ... She knows how to voice out her opinion without getting intimidated with others ..And I can bet Ranaji liked that fearless attitude of Gayatri , reason he was quick to give out the verdict and asked his guards to leave 😛 ..


It was funny how the security were more keen to punish the one for the pot mishap but dint bother to find out the real culprit behind the bomb planting 😆 ..

It was a beautiful moment when Gayatri realised Ranaji came to their house and runs downstairs fanatically to catch his one glimpse only to see him go back on his horse ..sighhh .. her dream to see her Prince whom she hero worships remained unfulfilled yet again because destiny has some other plans for their meeting 😳 .. Drashti was Fantastic in this scene , the way she changes her expression quickly from anger to that pleasant shock after knowing it was none other than Ranaji ..


Overall I loved the episode as it further gave a glimpse of Ranaji and Gayatri's family and the similar hurdles that they both r gonna face in their respective families which are filled more with enemies than well wishers .. Amidst all the hurdles how they meet and become true soulmates will be interesting to watch ...

Actually I had to write twice .. wrote first time and internet crashed .. so had to write it all over again .. so got a bit late ..

Today was almost their first meeting .. He heard her voice and she saw his half face and back 😛😆...bas now full meeting remaining which will b in library I guess as per promo 😳

And I m liking how they r taking it slowly and not in a rush to make them meet ... it gives a natural growth to the characters too and curiosity rises as well ..

I loved Gayatri's response to the soldiers. She is a women with a spine. I hope she maintains this spine if in case Ranaji in the future tells her she can't drive because she is a woman. I'm confused by that response of his in the promo. I will wait before performing an opinion. From his judgement today after listening to Gayatri's pov he seemed like a rational and fair person. But most heroes are in the beginning than slowly their flaws seem to reveal.
