Yeah, yeah, Anushka Sharmaš But to tell you the truth, she reminded me of a topic I wanted to post here since a really long time...
Basic GK is something EVERY citizen in the country is needed to be aware of. No excuses.
In Bollywood, I found that only in SRK constantly. Yeah, Farhan and likes keep talking about social issues but most of them come across as wannabes to me. It was only SRK who managed leave a favorable impression on me in that regard.(Not SRK pankha, for God's sake!)
Few years ago, when I was in school, zoom/some channel telecast this episode asking basic GK... SRK then told that he helps his kids out in their studies so keeps his geography brushed up. He was asked about the name of our galaxy, distance of astronomical bodies etc etc and he answered pretty thoroughly... he seems well aware and interested.
Who else is good?
Or are all celebs completely disinterested?
P.S: I've seen this video made by many channels asking difference between Republic Day and Independence Day. And Lord! the answers common people gave! And to call themselves educated?! And crying FOUL for freedom of speech and what NOT! #shameful.
