Hollywood has M. Night. S.

Watching some horror movies from around the world lately.

Spanish, Japanese, some American. Pretty good. You don't need to rely on special effects. A lot has to do with a well written script, story and acting. You can take what is the most ordinary of locations and make a haunting story about it.

I think that is one of the biggest tests for an actor. Its not easy playing someone genuinely in distress and making it come across as believable

Noticed Bollywood is still stuck in the C grade horror movies of the 80's.

A pretty girl with big tits running away from her tormentor in a cat and mouse chase.

At times it becomes more hilarious than horrific. Really bad acting.

They honestly should make a horror film that is more modelled on a normal persons life and their encounter with the paranormal entity that doesn't resemble a really bad holloween costume.

I really liked Madhavan's 13B. It was a well-made horror film but yeah you're right most of them suck.. 🤢

I just don't know why they need to jazz things up.

Horror/Thrillers/Mysteries need good acting. Some of the best.

There are countless stories that don't need big budgets but just good acting.

""A couple who live in an apartment haunted by an entity.

They follow the clues only to find the building burned many years ago.

So they try to help this entity.

Only to find there is no one that died except them.

The entity is actually the new living people who occupy the apartment

That kind of story can be haunting doesn't need much except really good acting.

Completely agree! Bollywood definitely needs to work on this genre. I just see bipasha trying to make a change but it's coming across horribly.
I think if Aamir tried he could come up with an amazing script... not sure if he would be able to act the part though..
