What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us...
Meher tried opening her eyes but leaned more into her pillow... Its breathing... Breathing pillow... Is it even possible she wondered. She slowly opened her eyes and looked at 'her' breathing pillow... Her abeer. She couldn't believe that someone could look that innocent and adorable while sleeping. Soon the memories of last night rushed back to her.
"I will not break..."
Abeer paused and after acknowledging what she said, quickly turned her around and untied the knots of her blouse and it was gone, in one swift motion. Meher was shocked on how quickly it happened and soon her face with heat as she realised she was half naked in front of a man... A man she loves with all her heart.
Abeer sensed meher's nervousness and self consciousness and said "you are beautiful baby... Very beautiful"
His lips again pressed against her immediately taking her into a dream land... A world she never knew existed before. His hands travelled all around her body trying to familiarise him with her curves. Meher smiled in the kiss and looped her arms around his neck.
Abeer without breaking the kiss got rid of his shirt and threw it away. Meher took it as an opportunity to touch him and her fingertips moved all over his back tracing the lines of his bulging muscles. It felt as if they were worshiping each other; as a result the passion and need for each other increased and took over their sanity. They made love to each other giving each other much needed attention and consummated their relationship.
"Morning baby.." said abeer cuddling with meher and breaking her train of thoughts.
Meher blushed thinking about last night's event and replied in an almost inaudible voice "morning".
"Thank you..."
"Huh..."
"I really wanted it you know... The feeling of making you mine... " confessed abeer.
"I too wanted it abeer... But I realised it yesterday when we kissed under the sky..." replied meher.
Abeer pulled meher by her waist and kissed her forehead and was about to move to her lips when meher stopped him.
"No Mr. Malhotra... That's it.. From now on, no such intimacy until we get married..."
"That's why I suggested we get married soon... You can still change your decision though... Think once again meher..." said abeer.
"No changing of plans... And now you will drop me home like a good boy..."
"Yes boss..."
"Abeer... Let me study... " meher said irritatedly.
"Nerd..." said abeer teasing meher.
"Shut up... Get away and don't disturb me..." Meher glanced at abeer angrily and then focused all her attention on her book.
After 10 minutes of silence, abeer asked meher something; "Are you pregnant...??"
"What...???" Meher left her book and turning around looked at abeer.
"You know you behave absurdly... Irritated all the time and..."
"And..." Asked meher.
"And then you have your mood swings... tell me honestly are you gonna make me a daddy soon... Though I wouldnt mind it and would love having a kid..."
"Excuse me... For god's sake I'm not pregnant abeer... Pack your opinions and thoughts in a bag and burn them.." Meher replied and got up from the ground.
"I was just messing up with you babe... Meher..." Abeer said honestly.
"Anyway it was for your kind information... You are not going to be a daddy anytime soon..." saying this meher made her way to the library.
"Enjoying... Huh.."
Abeer turned back to face his buddy nisaar.
"Ya sort of... I love when she gets irritated soon easily..."
"Who...??" asked nisaar.
"Meher dude... Who else..?? Remember my fianc.."
"Of course bro..."
Abeer smiled at nisaar.
"Acha by the way how was your dinner date last night...??" asked nisaar.
"Dinner date...?? With mum n dad.. Hahaa... Same... Like always..."
"No you liar... With meher..."
"Meher and I... We didnt meet yesterday... Kuch bhi pagal..."
"But I saw her yesterday..." whispered nisaar.
"Saw her...??? What are you saying..???" asked abeer.
"It must be someone else I guess..."
"Exactly..."
Abeer that evening couldn't forget the convo he has with nisaar. Could nisaar be mistaken...??? Could he confuse someone with meher...?? Or meher didn't tell him... Did she go for dinner yesterday night...??? Did she forget to mention it to him...??? May be she did... Abeer had no clue.
Meher was trying to call abeer from past half an hour but couldn't reach him. It was very strange for her... Abeer always answered her calls in the first ring. Trying abeer's number for the last time, meher went to bed; only to toss left and right.
Late night around 2 am, abeer woke up and realised he dozed off looking at the sky and thinking of meher. He hurriedly got up and checked his mobile.
"50 missed calls..." Abeer whispered after checking his mobile which was on vibration mode.
"She must be hell worried... I love you meher..."
Abeer quickly sent meher whatsapp voice note.
"Sorryyy baby... I donno how I dozed off... Missed your calls.. Sorry.. And you know I love you... Ya ya... You love me too and was worried... But I love you more... See you tomorrow honey... "
Meher was tossing left and right as expected when her mobile vibrated. She immediately checked it and listened to the voice note.
"I love you more... No more discussion... Goodnight baby... "
Meher also sent him a voice note.
Abeer smiled on listening to the voice note and went to bed happily with only and only meher on his mind.
"Meher you should join us... We all will be extremely happy..." Madhvi, Abeer's mother said to meher.
"I wish I could aunty... I have a very important internship this week... I can't miss it.. Its important for me and my career..." Meher replied honestly.
"I just wanted all of us to develop a more strong bond... "
"Really sorry aunty... Hope you understand..."
Abeer was coming downstairs from his room. And when he saw meher sitting with his mother and they were certainly discussing something.
"Sorry..?? What did you do chashmish..??" asked abeer.
Meher looked at abeer and gave him a sweet smile.
"You both talk... I will send some snacks for you..." Madhvi tried to excuse herself.
But abeer stopped his mother and looked at meher for explanation.
"Abeer... Actually..."
"Leave it abeer..." said his mother.
"Mom..."
"Actually its me... Aunty was talking about your family trip... She wants me to join as well..." replied meher.
"So what's the issue...???" asked abeer
"I have my internship this week... I told you abeer..."
"Toh let it go baby... Right mom...?? Once we come back, meher can get internship anywhere..." Abeer looked at his mother and she smiled at him nodding her head in positive.
"Now snacks please..." Abeer smiled at his mother.
Once they were alone, abeer went and took meher in his arms.
"That was quite a surprise u know... Coming downstairs thinking of you and I find you right there in front of my eyes..."
"This is not done abeer..." said meher while pushing abeer away from her.
"What...???"
"You should have supported me instead..." complained meher.
"Cmon... Let's go out together on weekend for this trip and have a wonderful time... Lots of romance... Only you and me... Alone... " said abeer pulling meher close to him by her waist and nuzzling his nose against her neck.
"Its not always about romance abeer..." shouted meher pushing abeer away.
"And its not always about you... Or your career... We will be getting married soon if you remember... It will be about us and our families..." said abeer.
Meher looked at abeer unbelievingly and ran out of there with tears in her eyes.
