Dilwale Pre Release Business is Bollywoods Highest Ever ' Record

Shah Rukh Khan - Varun Dhawan - Kajol's Dilwale directed by Rohit Shetty sold for record breaking prices at major centers, Business expectation is massive Rs 280 crore.

Nothing gets bigger than Shah Rukh Khan and Rohit Shetty collaborating for a film post the tremendous success of Chennai Express which also stars Kajol, Kriti Sanon and Varun Dhawan.

As the industry gears up for the release of biggest film, Red Chillies have already started selling the film to major territories for record prices. A source close to mid day revealed-

"Red Chillies is now planning to expand its business and convert itself into one of the biggest studios in the country. Apart from co-producing Dilwale, it has also taken up the responsibility of distribution in India as well as abroad. As of now, the film has been sold to exhibitors in major trade centres like Delhi-Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Nizam, Rajasthan and Central Province at the highest rates ever. The business expected is nearly R 280 crore."

When Mid Day spoke to the CRO of Red Chillies about the clash with Bajirao Mastani, he said-

"We will work equally hard irrespective of which film releases with us. Our commitment level doesn't go up or down. What others are doing is their prerogative. We will get to know whether the audience is divided on the Friday in December. It is too early to talk about it. The film is set to release 6 months later."

Dilwale releases on 18th December 2015.
