Bollywood stars Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha would be paired together for the remake of Tamil romantic-drama Ok Kanmani'. Earlier, it was reported that Alia Bhatt and her ex-boyfriend Varun Dhawan would play the lead roles, however due to their busy schedules Aditya and Sonakshi would pair up for the first time for Mani Ratnam's romantic blockbuster. OK Kanmani received a lot of praise for its beautiful tale and acting of Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen.

Shaad Ali would helm the project and if sources are to be believed Sonakshi has confirmed her schedules for the film.

Sonakshi Sinha would be seen in her upcoming film Force 2' and on the other hand Aditya will be seen in Fitoor' which will release next year.

I see a big flop this jodi should get a new story by Yrf I cant imagine them in dulquer and nithya's roles. Its not early 2000 Shaad ali can get away successfully by copying Mani ratnam frame by frame. Regional movies are watched more now the comparison is going to kill it.
