hello everyone,
i am shreya . watched the first version of indian idol and now watching this version because of my favorite , have watched other seasons here and there . huge round of applause for the talented kids on the show š. hope the best wins . now coming to the main point .
the header of the thread is enough to tell you guys the content of the thread . yes , it's about asha . before going to the topic i just want to clearify that i am not against any criticism . it is a part of any actor/performer's life and i knew it that asha would get that too . this is a open forum and everyone can share their views and can have a healthy debate on that , so i hope my words are not taken in wrong sense or considering me as a blind fan which i am not.
there are few issues which i want to sort out :
1) ASHA IS OVER RATED - no she is not . she is new to this field and there are fans and others who do are boosting her and motivating her , that's it . we know she is not the best host , she will learn . praising her is doesn't make her over rated .
2) HER DRESSES IN SHOW - trust me more than anyone asha's fans are frustrated with those dresses like don't know who the hell is her stylist š” asha 's personal wadrobe is awesome and she has a perfect figure and face to carry a good dress . hope she gets a good stylist for this show who can match up with her and she can get decent dresses . but there is nothing she can do about it .
3)SHE ACTS TO BE BUBBLY - she doesn't acts , she is bubbly and child like in real life . everyone knows that very well . unlike some people , who try hard to show themselves bubbly and child like , asha has it in her naturally. so yup she is not COPYING anyone.
4) HER VOICE - well there are certain things which is natural and we can't alter it . asha is having a baby voice BUT yes she will try to adjust with the modulations with time and yes if anyone had noticed that her on screen characters where she has to sound serious , she do it but you can still here a babyish thing in her voice . so yes she have to make some modulations but can't change her voice.
5)SHE IS IRRITATING - if it's about her hosting , then i can understand as you guys might not be getting a PERFECT host right now in asha . hope asha will overcome it with coming weeks . but if you are telling about the person to be irritating , then it's better i should not comment or else it will turn out to be a fanwar (every fan does that)š.
6)ASHA'S VOICE IS RUINING THE SHOW - really? isn't it too much to say for criticism š³ like okay her voice is not matured but it's too much to say that her voice is so powerful that it is ruining a show which had such great singers !!
okay now i hope these points are not taken in wrong sense , i have just forward certain things where i disagreed , not forcing my views on anyone.š
NOW,
asha is very very new to the field of hosting before she just hosted one episode of YHA with rithvik. when we step in for something new we do make dozens of mistakes and learn from it . asha is in that phase of hosting now . she has admitted it that she do make mistakes and i am glad she is making mistakes or else she won't learn . she is still learning . i guess it's too much right now to expect a very high level trained anchoring from her , it's like asking a nursery kid to perform like a high school student . is it fair on our side??
her voice can undergo modulations but she can't change her voice ,it will take time to adjust .
people tend to think that when we have perfect hosts in industry then why bringing new people to host who are newbie and don't know many things about hosting . if the same thing has been said for hussain and other established hosts when they started hosting , would we have got some great hosts like hussain today , no . who knows may be even asha could become a great host in future . she is a popular TV star /actress but she also deserve a chance .
last and the most important part , reality shows are scripted especially hosting part . so whatever asha does is according to what is told and explained to her . it will take time for her to have a flow like other hosts . the script should also be strong to make asha have some developments.
asha is my favorite and i have seen her reaching out to different fields and learn something . whether it's acting , dancing , doing stunt , hosting etc and i have trust on her that she has made us proud and will do it further . i know she is weak in hosting right now , so lets just give her a chance to learn , i am sure she will over come all of your's complain .
i came to this forums and saw so many posts against asha , so thought to share my too . i hope i have not hurt anybody's sentiments , just stating mine.
TO ASHVIK FANS -
guys i know that our negi baby is hosting for the first time and i am so happy to see that everyone is supporting her and also pointing out on certain stuffs that need to be developed but guys it's a request that don't go over board and ignore her weakness . we want our negi to excel and we will support her in her every steps but will also tell her where she needs to develop . hope you guys are not taking me wrongš
