How many days have gone since Patta died and I'm still missing him. As much as Ajabde called him a brother I'm sure all forum waasis must have connected him as a brother. I did try not to cry while seeing him die but a few tears did leak out for our dear Patta! And my favorite line was when he shouted that to kill him Mughals have no option but to raise their guns.

Did you all notice! Patta suddenly seemed so grown up while fighting and he stood so bravely and confidently... like he turned into a man from a man-boy with a mucchi, as Rati and/or Dida had once put it. In a flash Patta was all grown up... and those last lines were so emotional. He saved his Jija and her suhaag.

Great were those who gave up everything for their motherland. Jai Eklingji!

Yes! I'm missing him badly!
All the send we got which had him in them were so energetic and emotional!
His relation with his sister and his friend was of love and trust!
He did seem very grown up...in his looks and in his behaviour!
All the things he said were meaningful!
His fighting with the Mughals was very energetic and there was always a fire we could see in him!
He died with a smiling face! That pained me to watch it!
And his last words were beautifully put with a lot of emotion!
He did keep his promise..,both to his motherland..and to his Jija.
A salute to him and his bravery!

Very thoughtful of you to do a post for Patta.

He will be missed badly. They have introduced him as a nice sweet lovable character with no dearth for bravery or love for Mathrubhoomi.

I still remember his first meeting with Pratap. Absolutely sweet and adorable. And as you said he is suddenly so matured up, with his dealing with his mother, wife and ofcourse the enemies. I hated from my very core to see him being shot like that.

The Patta from history will win anyone's heart. Why he won even a tyrant's heart! Such grit, capability, devotion and what not that he became in-charge at such a young age! And what a family are they - the entire family gave their all, fighting till the end for their mother land.

Post leap I connected to Patta and his wife. Maybe because I missed our Lil Praja, maybe coz I knew their history, or maybe I loved the previous Chandragupta (in serial Chandragupta Maurya he was child lead) and Swera Bai ( In Veer Shivaji sheplayed his second child wife) and I loved their pairing. I connected more to her than him, cz I fascinate the women of history. Her mehendi had still not faded when she fought and died with him for her motherland. 😭😭 And in history Patta was actually a distant relative to Pratap and not Ajabde, but still the bond they showed between Praja and him here wasoutstanding👏 those last moments 😭

Sorry, peace! I meant Rani JB. Got mixed for a minute.

I will let Rawatji be at peace. Don't want the CVs to sit on his head anymore. They have finished his part in all glory - let us leave it there, you see we cannot trust the CVs!
