Nice update. Trishna is doing right.Rk n madhu both r dumbo.Again a sullu-madhu date ,don't like this. Short update ,hoping next is bigger.

I love Trishna... she is awesome... she hit the right chord at the right time...
now RK would be able to vizulaize his life without Madhu... and probably know her importance... but same thing needs to be with Madhu too... even she would need to know what her life would be without RK... wonder who would do that - again Trishna or Rk? 😉

Part 4

Madhu came back in the afternoon hurriedly. She frantically ran through the corridoors and rooms.

"Ohh.. there you are..." Madhu said relaxing as she came in the activity room where RK was sitting with his guitar and his frown.

He looked up and a smile of relief crept over his face.

"I am so sorry Rishu... I should have awoken you.. Actually I didnt know that Sultan would plan for an ice cream and all.. and then one thing led to another.. I said to him so many times that I need to come back here.. I had to be here.. but he delayed it so much.. Then I thought its all my mistake.. I should have awoken you and gave you your tea.." Madhu blurted out restlessly. She had been so uneasy. All that occupied her mind the whole time was that 'its time for Rishu to wake up' or 'Rishu should be having tea' or 'Rishu doesn't like the hostel tea at all..'

"Its okay Madhu.. calm down.." RK intervened seeing that she didnt even take a breath in between.

"Did you have your tea?" Madhu asked worriedly.

"Trishna gave me something.. but it had ginger.." He said making a puking face.

"I will get it right now.." Madhu said turning back hurriedly even before RK could stop her.

After some time she came back. "Here it is.." she said forwarding him the cup.

"Thanks Madhu.." RK said taking it.

"Whoa.. thanks for the tea.. when did that started coming..?" Madhu asked amused.

"When I realized that its only you who would cater to my demands.." RK said smiling nervously as he remembered what all Trishna said to him.

"Ohh that you are right.." Madhu said with a haughty expression. "I am so sorry Rishu.." Madhu said again.

"Its okay Madhu... Moreover I should develop this habit.. you cant stay here all the time and wait for me to get up and cater to my needs and demands.. You have spoilt me too much.. I must learn to adjust when you are not around.." RK said as each word killed him as if a dagger piercing.

" Why are you talking that way? I am not going anywhere... why would you learn to have your mornings without me.. or why even the days or the nights.. that won't happen.." Madhu said as she was deeply hurt by what RK said. She had tears brimming in her eyes that she tried to hold back. Already she was so upset about not being here and now this.

"That would happen Madhu.." RK said looking in other direction as he felt that he might himself breakdown if he looked at her. He could never have thought of being away from Madhu.. just like the way she said it right now.. but today he realized that this would be the reality sooner or later.

A tear fell from Madhu's eye as she breathed in the sob. RK turned to her side shocked by the sound of her sob. He quickly reached out and wiped her tear.

"Why are you crying?" He asked surprised and hurt.

"You are bad.." Madhu said hitting his arm as another tear fell from her eye. The next second she was crying. RK kept the cup aside and came forward hugging her close to his chest. He suddenly felt an enormous amount of solace, he closed his eyes as he felt relaxed after the whole day of restlessness. Madhu too cried in his arms. She felt that emptiness that was bothering her since a week suddenly vanish away somewhere.

"Madhu please dont cry. You are hurting me.." RK said patting her head.

Madhu knew that her cries always hurt Rishabh. That was the reason she had stopped crying. It had been years since she last cried. She quickly controlled herself.

They parted reluctantly. "Very good.." RK smiled satisfied seeing Madhu quiet now and she too smiled at him.

"Madhuuu..." RK called her in his demanding tone.

"Yes.. I will bring another tea.. you spoiled this one.." Madhu said smiling at him now relaxed as she got up picking the cup.

"Madhu.. get one for yourself too.." RK said to her from behind.

Madhu came with the tea soon and they both sat on the floor drinking.

"So how was your date?" RK asked intently wanting to see her reaction even though he didnt know why.

"It wasnt a date.." Madhu said irritated.

"Ohh.. stealing my dialogues?" RK said raising an eyebrow at her.

"Yes. It was breakfast.. he ordered cheese tortillas.." Madhu said making a face.

"Wow.. I love it.. its so cheesy.." RK said suddenly getting lost in the imagination of the taste.

Madhu broke into laugh. "That was the same thing that came to my mind when it was served.. that reaction of yours.. I was imagining your face in those tortillas.." she said laughing.

RK smiled embarrassed hearing her. "But its tasty.. you should admit.." he said.

"Yes it is.. but who has that for breakfast.. its too heavy.."

"I can have... next time i am going on a date with Sultan.." Rishabh announced and Madhu burst out laughing.

When she didnt stop for a long time RK interrupted. "Why are you laughing that much?"

"I was thinking who would be the girl.." Madhu said still laughing.

"Well.. i dont know that.."

"Yes.. all you know is food.."

"Madhu.. you told me about tortillas.. now i am having a strange craving for it.. plzz lets go today.." RK said demanding.

"Again?"

"Yes.. we will get tomato pasta for you.. but let me have those cheesy devils.." RK almost pleaded.

"okay.. but just for tomato pasta.." madhu said agreeing.

"Yes.!"

Just then Sikky entered the room. "Hey.. wassup.." he said happily.

"Nothing.. just having tea.." Madhu said shrugging.

"Ohh.. wow.. Madhu's tea.. can i have some..?" he asked with sparkling eyes.

"Oh.. sorry Sikky i just finished it.." Madhu said regretting.

"Ohh.." sikky said disappointed as he peeked in RK's cup which still had a sip left.

RK suddenly looked at his cup and drank it quickly. "Sorry Sikky. I too just finished it.." RK said shaking his head in fake disappointment.

"You always do that... its nothing new.." sikky said angrily.

Madhu giggled seeing them both quarell like kids. "I will make another for you.." she said getting up.

"Leave it Madhu.." Sikky said in humbleness.

"Yes leave it Madhu.." RK said too and Sikky glared at him angrily.

" I will get the tea.. you both sit here." She said going away.

"Are you sure you dont love her?" Sikky asked when she went away.

RK suddenly turned to him shocked. "What are you saying?" He asked shocked.

"Just asking.. out of curiosity.." Sikky replied shrugging carelessly.

"you know we dont think about each other that way.." RK said a little uncomfortable thinking that as a possibility.

"I know.. thats why i am asking if you are sure or not. "

"I am quite sure.." RK said confidently yet nervous.

" Fine.." Sikky said.

"Why did you ask that?" RK asked after a minute of silence as he couldnt get the strange thought out of his mind.

"Asked what?" Sikky who was now thinking something totally different had lost track of the discussion they had a minute ago.

"Like.. loving Madhu." RK asked uneasily.

"Just like that.. she is loveable." Sikky said casually.

" Yes. That she is.." RK agreed to him nodding his head.

"Here is the tea.." Madhu announced entering the room again.

RK saw her coming and for the first time he tried to look at her the other way.. but all he could see was his Madhu. The one he had seen since childhood, the one he took care of. He couldnt see her any differently. He brushed off the thought and smiled seeing Madhu laugh at some joke of Sikky.
