MRMRW Season 2 'My version'

PART 1

LD looks at Radha after he applies sindoor on her maang. His beloved Radha is finally his. He has so much catching up to do. They have been apart for over a year. Yes they were together the last few weeks but they don't really count. Jayashree Chachi tells the family that she needs to make a confession. She narrates how she changed the labels of all the masalas in the store room and also changed the label on the oil. It wasn't Radha's mistake that Bauji got that allergic reaction that day. She asks Radha to forgive her. Banwari is furious. He asks her how she can expect any good thing for her family when she is so wicked. Radha tells him to leave it, it is pranks that bond a family together. Unfortunately this time Dadaji had an allergy.

Dadaji is happy for his grandson - he has such a loving and forgiving wife. He tells the family that they need to go to the hill temple and offer prayers for the family. For the first time in his life, LD feels resentment towards Dadaji. Surely Dadaji could understand that he would like to spend some time with Radha. Anyway, LD is always obedient grandson and so he gets ready for the trip.

The family are chattering away. Bhai is trying his best to prove to Bhabi that he is worthy of her love but so far she doesn't seem impressed. Chacha is still angry with Chachi and ignores her. He cannot even sit with Radha. She is sitting with Dadibua who is attempting this long journey after a long time. LD feels his resentment growing.

The van arrives at the temple. LD gets down and looks around. He sees Radha's smiling face as she helps Dadhibua. Ma and Papa are watching her appreciatively. LD feels guilty. He has always enjoyed this trip before, and decides he needs to put his resentment aside and try his best to be part of the Puja wholeheartedly.

Dadibua asks Radha to take her around the temple. It has been a long time since she came here. She last came here with her husband before he left for the city. Since then so much had happened and so much time had passed.

LD helps Murali bhai take all the things from the van to the temple so that Ma and Shamili can make the arrangements for the Puja.

Dadibua tells Radha to stop. She tells Radha that she needs to make a confession. Radha tells Dadibua to let the past be in the past, they have been given a chance to start again. Very few get this chance and so instead of dwelling on the past, they need to look to the future. Dadibua tells Radha that she was magnanimous and so forgave easily, but she needed to be at peace with herself.

Ma calls LD to find Dadibua and Radha and tell them to come for the Puja.

Dadibua narrated to Radha how on the day when she was asked to cook for guruma, she got the electrician to cut the power supply to the house so that she would fail in the task. Dadaji wanted her to fail the task so she made this arrangement. But as fate would have it, LD suffered the consequences. Radha feels hurt but more because she did not think that Dadaji whom she respected so much would be unfair.

LD is stunned, he found Radha and Dadibua just when Dadibua started her confession. He didn't mean to eavesdrop but he couldn't help hearing what Dadibua was saying. He coughs and Radha turns and sees him. She wonders how much he heard. But LD looks chirpy as always. He tells them that the preparations for the Puja are made and they need to come. He takes charge of Dadibua's wheelchair and Radha walks beside them.

The Puja is over. LD is happy that at least at the Puja he got to sit with Radha. They return home and everyone goes off to their rooms. LD is excited that finally he will get Radha to himself. Radha goes to the bathroom to freshen up and change. She comes out wearing that pretty maroon nightdress. She sits shyly on the bed. LD says finally he can take a shower and goes off to the bathroom. When he comes out he finds Radha fast asleep. He sighs. He knows it has been a long day for her. He lies on bed and pulls the sheet to cover Radha.

LD tries to sleep but he cannot. He tosses and turns. He is so tired but just cannot sleep. Radha turns in her sleep and rests her head on his arm. He strokes her hair. He thinks of all the suffering that Radha had undergone in his house, for him for his family. He remembers the promise he made to Ma about always supporting Radha in her dreams and career. He remembers the vows that he made with Radha and then he realises he could not sleep because he has become aware of how badly Radha has been treated both by his family and by him. Radha is sweet and forgiving but both he and his family need to make amends for the way that they have treated her...

Wow! I am so excited with you, Sanaa and Diaa writting FF. They are all awesome. I enjoy alot reading all of them. I hope Rajshree Production reads all them and get ideas to make season 2 of MRMRW.

Btw, I was not happy with Radha falling asleep. Please don't drag SR to 6 months like in many other shows.
It's also unlike LD to have resentment towards Dada ji and Dadi bua.

PART 2

Radha stirs awake. Something is wrong with her pillow - it's different. Then she realises her "pillow" is LD's arm. She snuggles closer to him and watches his breathing. Poor LD. He has suffered so much in the last one year. LD stirs and opens his eyes. He sees Radha in his arms and holds her tighter - as if he is afraid that she will fly away again if he loosens his grip. Radha whispers "It is time for the morning Puja, we need to get up." LD says "just a few moments more."

LD and Radha arrive at the Mandhir. Dadibua asks Radha to sing the prayer song. Radha sings beautifully. Dadaji thinks again how mistaken he was about Radha. She was right, he had been hastily judgemental about city people and the young generation.

After the Puja, Sadhna calls LD and Radha. She tells them that her brother who lives just outside Mathura wants to meet Radha and bless them. She suggests that they go there after breakfast and have lunch with him and come back in the evening. LD asks if she is not coming. Sadhna says no, she has to start making the arrangements for Janvi's wedding. It is the last wedding in the family and so Dadaji wants it to be grand. LD is happy. He will get Radha to himself for some time.

LD and Radha start off. Radha asks him if he really knows the way this time. LD gets an idea. He tells her that he hasn't been to his Mamaji's house in a long time but he remembers the way. On the way, LD deliberately loses his way so that he gets more time with Radha. They arrive late at Mamaji's house. Mamaji is waiting for them in his room as he is bed-ridden. He calls Radha close to him and looks at her. He says he is happy that his sister has got such a graceful and intelligent Bahu. LD smiles sheepishly. His cousin comes in and says lunch is ready. They have lunch and go back to Mamaji to get his blessings before he leaves. Mamaji takes a necklace and gives it to Radha. He tells LD that it belonged to his Nani and he wanted Radha to have it as a blessing from her too.

LD and Radha start their return trip. Meantime, Sadhana and Jeyshree have been giving LD's room a makeover. Sadhna comments on how LD refused to change anything in the room including the bedcover and pillow cases as he wanted to keep the memories of when Radha stayed in the house. But now, it is time these were changed. She takes the new sets that she had kept ready at the time of the wedding. She and Jeyshree change the bed linen. Jeyshree tells Sadhna that she has really been bad to separate these youngsters for over a year. Sadhna says not to worry about that any more. The separation has made them realise their love for each other even more. Sadhna says they have done enough and Shamilee and Janvi can finish the rest of the work.

LD drops Radha off at the door and says he needs to go to the office to look at some files. Radha tells him to be back before the evening Puja. Radha enters the house washing her feet first. She is so happy that the old practices are back. She is about to enter her room but Sadhna calls her and asks her for some help in the kitchen. LD calls and says he has some urgent work with a new client and will be late or may only be able to come in the morning. Radha is disappointed. Sadhna tells her to come with her. She takes her to her room and takes out a new outfit. Jayshree and Shamiliee also come. Together they dress Radha up. Radha asks them if there is a function. Jayshree giggles.

They take Radha to her room. She enters the room and sees that it has been decorated. She understands that the preparations are for the Suhag Rath. She feels shy. Jayshree teases her good-humouredly. They are so happy that Radha doesn't have the heart to tell them that LD will be late or may even return only tomorrow morning.

Radha sits on the bed and waits for LD to come home...

Radha is very excited about their trip to Agra. Mamaji was her favourite uncle. He used to visit them every year at Diwali and brought them lots of presents. The presents were nice but she loved him more because he genuinely respected her beloved Papa. Papa's own brothers treated him very badly and she could not forget how they cheated him and the part they played in preventing her marriage to LD.

LD looks at Radha's excited face and is happy. It takes so little to make Radha happy. Though she is a movie star, she has no fascination for expensive jewellery or clothes. And how could he ever forget how she protected his family. He never understood how the door in the bathroom fell off that day. And being busy with all the issues surrounding Jhanvi, he never investigated the kidnapping. Probably Neha was behind all of this also.

As they reach Agra, Radha gives the driver the name of a temple and tells him to take them there. LD is surprised. Radha explains that when Mamiji died, Mamaji moved into accommodation that was part of the temple complex. Mamaji is waiting for them at the entrance of the temple. Both Radha and LD touch his feet and get his blessings. LD thanks Mamaji for saving the life of his sister. Mamaji enquires about Jhanvi and Radha tells him that Abhishek was genuine and being used by his sister. The family had accepted Abhishek for Jhanvi and the marriage preparations had started.

Mamaji takes them to his quarters and offers them lunch. Radha serves the food and they have their meal. Mamaji makes arrangements for them to visit the Taj Mahal. He has also arranged for them to stay at a guest house. He explains to LD since only men lived in the temple quarters, they would not be comfortable about Radha staying in the quarters.

Radha thanks Mamaji and they start off for the Taj Mahal. They arrive at the Taj Mahal and go around enjoying the architecture. Radha says it is truly great love that Shah Jahan had for his wife. She asks LD whether he will love her in the same way. Radha is disappointed when LD says he can't love her in the same way. He then explains, when Mumtaz died Shah Jahan continued living but if anything happened to Radha, he would die with her. He lived one year without her but he could never do this again. Radha is touched and hugs him forgetting that they are in a public place. They are startled to hear clapping and find that they are surrounded by some foreigners.

Embarrassed, Radha moves away from LD. The tourists are from Italy and have come on a study tour to India. They were fascinated by the some of the most amazing love stories both in mythology as well as in history. The group leader gives LD his contacts and tells them if they ever visit Italy, they should contact him. The group moves on.

Radha suggests they go to the guest house and freshen up. Then they can go out for dinner. They arrive at the guest house and check in. A heavily pregnant woman accompanied by an older woman also check in. Radha and LD go to their room and freshen up. LD gives Radha a bag. She opens it and finds a pair of jeans and a top. She looks questioningly at LD and he tells her that tonight he wants to see the fun loving Radha that he fell in love with. Radha smiles and dresses in the new clothes.

LD hails a taxi and they go to a nearby restaurant and have a quiet dinner. After dinner Radha suggests that they go for a walk. As they leave the restaurant they see shutters being pulled down. A man tells them there has been a couple of bomb blasts and the city was tense. He advises them to go to their accommodation immediately.

LD tries to hail a taxi but no vehicles are stopping. Radha suggests that they just start walking quickly. They start walking and suddenly the power goes off. LD is worried. He must get Radha off the street immediately. It is dangerous for anyone to be out but there is no saying as to what a mob could do to a young woman. He takes of his jacket and scarf and tells Radha to wear the jacket and cover her hair using the scarf. LD adjusts the jacket and scarf and is satisfied that unless someone was looking very closely they wouldn't think Radha was a woman. Thank goodness she was wearing jeans.

Using the GPS on Radha's phone they make their way to the guest house. The manager of the guest house is anxiously waiting for them. He tells LD that they were the last of the guests to return. He quickly locks the gates and the main door of the guesthouse. He tells them to stay indoors and not even go on to the balcony.

Stressed and tired, the young couple reach their room. Radha takes out her nightdress and goes towards the bathroom. LD tells her not to change into the nightdress. The situation outside was unpredictable and they might have to leave suddenly. Radha agrees. They lie down on the bed and Radha falls asleep in LD's arms. LD remains awake. He cannot afford to sleep. He has to keep vigil and see that Radha is safe.

The place is quiet but the tension could be felt. Suddenly, there is a loud scream piercing the quiet of the night.
