Raman and Ishita were nervous and excited. They didn't know what would follow later on. Keeping all those thoughts aside ,they engaged themselves into random things. They even stole some silent glances of each other and sometimes even shared a small eye-lock.
As time passed on, she grew more nervous. She ran to washroom and set right her make up. She practiced telling what was in her mind.
She looked into the mirror and started "Raman, I... Arrey no, Its not good"
She took a deep breath and again started "Look Raman... Its too rude"
"Raman... I...woh..."
She stamped her feet in frustration and "Chodo.It's not my cup of tea. Agar raman Propose karega toh main accept karungi" [If Raman proposes then I'll accept it]
Again she thought "But what if he doesn't propose me at all. Then what will i do... Hmm..Who do I ask...Neha. No,no she'll start her teasing session again. Rohan...yes,He's the right one"
She went to Rohan and told "Rohan,I wanna speak to you "
Rohan came aside and asked "Any problem"
"Yes, a big one"
"And what's it?"
"IT's like... you know me,,, I mean my friend she loves her friend"
"Then..."
"She wants to tell him about it.So,..."
"So what.If she loves him,she has to tell it"
"Tell... directly?"
"Yeah! when you...I mean your that friend loves someone,She has to tell him"
"Hmm...Okay"
"see, tell your friend if you hide your feelings for long time it comes out in an uglier way"
"What !!!!" she shouted
"Yeah.. that's true. The earlier the best"
"It's fine na?"
"Definitely fine." he assured her.
"Okay then..." Ishita went away from there.
While raman went to Neha .
Raman asked "Neha, what would you do if you love someone?"
"If I love whom?"
"Anyone... Take for an example your friend.What would you do?"
"I would tell him what I feel"
"Just simple as that ??"
"Yeah... What else will you do raman"
"Nothin... so you think you should tell them"
"You definitely should"
"Okay then" he walked out of the party venue
Ishita saw him and followed him out. She called out "Raman, Where are you going?"
"Just for a drive" he replied
"Wait, I'll join you"
A smile appeared on his face as soon as he heard she herself wanted to come out with him.
He led her to a car. He opened the door for her .
She asked "Gentleman ha?"
He ignored her words and just went to driver's seat. She asked him where they were going. But raman just replied to wait. The drive was long.It was past 15 minutes yet there was no sign of Raman stopping the car.She was bored. Raman observed it and just turned on some music.
She enjoyed the music,Ride and nature's view. She thought when to tell Raman about her feelings. She took a deepest breath she could and looked at Raman. Before she could even tell anything, she got afraid if Raman gets her wrong and even loses his friendship. He controlled herself.
It was no tough for Ram,an. He wanted to Burst out his feelings to her but he didn't have a slightest idea what her reaction would be. He found it better to keep quiet. After a silent long drive, he stopped his car in a secluded place and got down. ishita followed the same
They took a walk of few minutes and reached a place. It was beautiful lake. The moon light added further charm to it. The place looked so heavenly. The reflection of moon was seen in the water. There was single bench there in front of the lake with greenery all around. No noise from the external environment. Place looked extremely heavenly
Ishita "Such a beautiful place" she sighed
Raman was happy on seeing her eactipon.
She asked "Raman, Why did we come here?"
"Umm...My dad used to bring me here when I was a kid, I loved this place from that time"
"Aww... Raman this is so lovely place.Even I love it"
Rman started "Ishita, I wanted to tell you this from long time..."
Ishita got excited to hear what he wanted to tell he from a long time. But only to e disturbed by a phone call.
"Yes Miku"
It was from Mihika.
She "Akka problem has arised"
"Kya huva?" ishita asked worried [What happened]
"Subbu . akka. he had been here and"
"And what Miku"
"He was very angry and he just swore that he'll marry you and you only by hook or crook"
"What ??' ishita held her head with one hand and sat on the bench.
She hanged the call and started crying. Raman came beside her and asked "What happened ishita? Mihika had called right? What did she say?"
Ishita didn't stop crying.Raman hugged her,she did the same. After about few minutes, when she calmed down a bit
He again asked "Ish... what happened?"
"Rman... that...that subbu"
Upn hearing the name Subbu, Raman's anger rose yet he controlled it and asked "Then"
"He told that he won't leave me and he would marry me only"
"Uske baap the raaj hai kya" Raman shouted [It is his father's rule here]
"Subbu couldn't get it with words. Something has to be defintely done" Raman assured her "I'll help you with it.I pronise"
She managed to smile and asked him "Why are you doing so many thingfs for me Raman? "
"What do you mean?" he asked
"I mean...helpig me out in evrything and all."
"because Ishita I love you"
It took few moments for ishita to digest what just hapended hter. She couldn't belive her ears. She couldn't belive that Raman had told her those words. Seeing her confuesd face, Raman continued
"I mean it ishita. i loved you from long time just couldn't tell it. The first time I saw, I was full flat on you. I love you Ishita. I can't hide it any more I love you..."
Ishita's heart skipped a beat. She was happily surprised. Never in her wildest dreams did she imagine him telling thses things to her. it seemed that the god himself wanted it all. Everything seemed so perfect there.
She hugged him whole-heartedly and replied "I Love you Raman. i love you too "
She broke the hug and asked "Why didn't you tell me before? "
"I was waiting for the perfect moment ishita"
"Perfect... there is no perfect moment Raman. Just take a moment and make it perfect just like this moment"
"True..." he replied
they just sat on the bench their hands entwined with each other and Ishita's head on Raman shoulder looking a old board which read that
"This place makes people who really love each other one."
