You know outside india, in other countries a child is considered an adult at 18. Parents are under no obligation to pay for college or provide them with a place to live. Many parents refuse to pay for college especially when child is like Duggu. I feel living outside the country we are more strict with our kids then what they show on tv. There are parents that throw there kids out of the house at 18 and say we can no longer financially support you go find a place to live and work fulltime and take a loan for your education. Does strictness with children work in the modern world? Yes it does. I see many indian parents outside India very focused on making sure their kids study hard to get into good colleges and make a good future for themselves. Parents have rules of what they are allowed and not allowed to do if they expect support for education and future and kids are not defiant the way they have shown Duggu. In return parents provide full support to their kids and they respect that. I feel sometimes those living outside the country are quite traditional and don't tolerate the type of behavior displayed in this show. World maybe modern but modern doesn't mean go against your parents and be defiant and disrespectful. Some mistakes children make have a very heavy consequence which can ruin a family. If a bit a strictness will prevent the children from suffering or facing difficulties in life then that is better than the whole family suffering for one childs mistake. At the end of the day even if a child does a mistake the parents are held accountable for their actions and often blamed that they didn't raise their kids properly and teach respect.

No i think naksh is wrong in this ...n he should concentrate on his studies n then later start his business ...n akshara should stop supporting him ..without telling naitik ...becoz this could create a rift between husband n wife later on ..

I do not have any issues with a teenager who wishes to study and start a business. However, one must acknowledge that his does require a certain degree of maturity, guidance from the experienced persons, humility to accept the guidance, and excellent time management skills. Thre are several teenage actors in the TV industry who do exactly this and seem to do it quite okay.
However, I feel like Duggu is not mature enough to handle this. He does not seem to have goo time management skills, and he is also not mature or responsible enough to handle such kind of pressure. He acts more childish than his age and gets hyper too quickly.

The problem is not with his age but with his maturity and attitude.

I really think there is nothing wrong in wanting to handle studies and start a business at the same time. I mean... he is technically an adult now and there is nothing wrong if he wants to start planning his career even before getting his degree.

But something like starting a business isn't a piece of cake. Naksh should really consult some elders who are knowledgeable and can guide him. There is nothing wrong in taking advice and it doesn't make him a weak person. He should be aware of the worst-case scenarios and if he'll be able to manage them. Ideally, Naitik should be the one to whom he should go to for guidance or if not, he should go to Raj or even the Maheshwaris who actually run a hotel business.

The other thing is Naksh should learn to balance both the business and studies. Juggling two things at a time may not be impossible but is very difficult and requires good time management and balance. From the current episodes, it seems like Naksh is burning himself out. And things like not being able to stay awake in class shows that his studies is suffering. And that is not good. Whatever said and done, his father is paying for the studies and it is Naksh's duty to complete it properly. So Naksh should learn to balance both. If he is not able to handle both the things together, it is better he gives up the one that can wait and focus on the other.

We got various views of Duggu's behavior. How do you think Naitik (a father) should take this news of what Duggu has been up to? If you were in Naitik's shoes and you get this surprise and find out your son is messing up in college how would you react? Would be interesting to see view points on how a father should react to his son's actions. Many have said that Naitik should not tell Naksh/Duggu to leave the home so then what would be the solution if you had to write the script.
