Will Deepika Padukone gain Stardom on Content films?

Will take example of 2 films - Piku, Finding Fanny. Both Critically acclaim, 1 Hit, 1 Flop, now to gain this kind of stardom which she has now, No.1 status, can she attain it just on the basis of doing these kind of films only? Art/Content Films?

Yesh she will gain Stardom with content movies and she already has stardom. The kind of roles she is choosing in peak of her career is tremendous. Piku, Cocktail and her role in CE are one of the best roles in her careers. ⭐️

I haven't seen Piku but Deepika, though considered the top today, really doesn't have the acting prowess to carry off very intense roles. She is not an emotionally moving actress. As an audience, her characters fail to strike a chord for me and hence, I don't care much for them. This cannot work for an art/content film. Someone else may feel differently but in my opinion, No. She needed all those hits with big stars to establish herself. And in a way, she is lucky her contemporaries have similar lack of acting abilities.

Piku I personally did not like the movie that much, there were too many under developed plots in the story and the topic became pakao for me.

I think the question should be can Deepika pull off an intense/comic women oriented role? Cause all films are content oriented these days & if it is nice every one of those works. Even BB was a content oriented film. & tbh Piku was not entirely a content oriented film IMO it's setting was like a content oriented but it was not.


On topic yes I do feel she can pull it off and give a hit! Cause in the recent times she is the only actress after Katrina who has massive popularity!
