Arpita humiliated on MTV interview

I just saw a MTV India telecast of interview with FG contestants, and judges. This was taped after the Thursday results and before Friday Gala.

The guest was Shankar and he was show the clip of Arpita crying to Ila and complaining about not being in the safe zone and not getting top student when she deserved it. When asked to respond, Shankar said that she is "a fool" and "stupid" for suggesting that she is not treated fairly. He said that she has been selected as stop student and saved twice by faculty. He said she should concentrate on singing. Arpita was not there when Shankar said this.

Later Qazi was interviewed in Arpita's presence and when the host asked whether he felt bad when the other contestants ticked off his name as the person they did not want to be jodi with, he looked at Arpita and said that an artists may feel bad inside but he must never show it outside and always be happy. Arpita could not reply!

I am not sure if you are correct.......because this week there was no interview at all, they had only shown the 'Best of the Elimination Special'

For once I agree with Qazi's remark - that an artiste must not show his failures and agony to people outside coz. it does come across as a weakness and no matter what an accomplished artiste should not be insecure.

Of course I am stating my observation based on this post as I have not yet seen this interview. As much as I like Arpita I think that this is an area of problem that she must address and accept whatever decision with a pinch of salt. On a given day anyone can be better than the other - that does not negate ur talent except that it makes you set proper benchmarks for improvemnet in your own art.

Wizgal, I saw this episode too, it was right after the AAPKA FAISLA episode....since they were all wearing the same clothes......

I finally think that Sony/faculty/judges have realised that Arpita is truly unpopular (she cannot be part of fame jodi) and she is not very good at singing either....

In this particular MTV episode, Sophie also asked Arpita 2 questions.....People think you are arrogant? You have very little bonding with fellow students, is it true?.....any guesses what Arpita's answers were????
I always speak the truth (whining)and no, its not true..

Sophie ended the episode - asking RR - lets not be in denial...Qazi may surely be part of the fame jodi...Rex is considered 2nd and you third....she did not even mention Arpita.....it means Arpita is not even a remote contender now......

by the way i just want to add that qazi also said that a kalakaar should always smile and not cry on every other things hinting towards papita and fex

I watched this episode too. I found Qazi's comments very interesting. An artiste is supposed to entertain ppl and not burden people with their own problems and frustrations. But I don't think Arpita is smart enough to understand that. 😆 😆
